Cleaning expectations on departure were a bit excessive

Kids loved the tennis court and unit was well equipped with everything. Fireplace was an added bonus. We had a great short stay.

The first cottage was difficult to reach due to my disability which I had not disclosed Our thanks to David who as soon as I told about my disability transferred us to a more accessible cabin thank you david very much.

The internet reception was slow and dropped out occasionally.

The cottage was well equipped, with everything that we needed in the small kitchen, for example. The setting is green and quiet. The open plan living room was comfortable and heating was available for the one cool night. Comfortable beds!

Outdoor area and facilities run down and uncared for. Spa looked locked away and no instruction re access or operation. Gate on the dog run at cottage D could not be closed properly. In addition to making the run useless the broken gate swung in the wind, banging annoyingly at night.

Cottage itself was attractive enough. Owner was pleasant and responded to issues requests quickly . Good to have access to tennis court etc. although the bikes etc would have looked more inviting had the area they were stored in been closed inA The open storage left everything very grubby and unappealing .

I personally found the doonas too heavy for summer and like a little bit of weight when sleeping. Lighting poor in living room- different globes would make a huge difference.

Quiet bush location. Easy walk to beach and shops. Extras include tennis court9 gear provided) and push bikes.

UNFORTUNATELY THE BBQ NEEDED SOME ATTENTION AND COULDN'T BE USED AND PREVIOUS TENANTS HAD BURNT THE ROASTING DISH IN THE KITCHEN

VERY CLEAN AND WELL SET UP. EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR A BEACH/BUSH RELAXING HOLIDAY, INCLUDING HAVING THE DOG. BECAUSE WE WERE ON A WEEK OF DOWN TIME WE DIDNT MIND NO INTERNET. IT HAD GREAT MOBILE RECEPTION. THE TV RECEPTION ISN'T IDEAL BUT LOCATION IS GREAT FOR A GOOD BOOK.

Only negative was the QS bed mattress

Great location, quiet, clean, wood fire and dog friendly. Able to use the tennis courts and a laundry which was great. We had a great couple of days thank you.

Bathroom & kitchen are a little dated, few minor repairs required. Cobwebs in few roooms. No smart TV. Pillows little flat for my preference.

Functional space, cosy with fire place, plenty of firewood supplied, as well as fire lighters and basic kitchen supplies to get you started. Towels were soft. Electric blankets.

I didn’t like that we were expected to clean with a vacuum that had zero suction and not many cleaning products or broom to brush etc. I don’t mind cleaning after myself if everything is in good working condition.

no dishwasher not enough dishwashing liquid or toilet paper the cottage slept 5 so there were exactly 5 plates, 5 forks etc so when serving if you used utensils everything needed to be washed before you could sit down to eat

Broken heated blanket on queen bed. Somewhat troublesome to have to vacuum and sweep prior to checkout, particularly with a quite ineffective vacuum cleaner.

No split system to quickly warm rooms when first arrived and coming back from outings. Very cold few days in the area. There is a fire but did not want to spend precious time fiddling with it.

Fireplace chimney did not draw well - tree branch was over the top and no grate in the fireplace. Poorly insulated concrete walls - very chilly.

Didn't like the heavy-handed messaging in hotel pack around having to leave the place 'spotless' or be subject to extra charges. It's not like the place was particularly cheap.

Cottage could do with a little bit of an update & a dishwasher but overall very clean & comfortable.

The property is located in a lovely private bush setting which is within walking distance to beaches & cafes. Was happy I could bring my dog as we were able to stay in the dog friendly cottage with good secure fencing. Enjoyed our stay!
