I cant complain for such a expensive city to live in like Melbourne this is very decently priced accommodation. Good for short or medium term stays.

I think it is good backpacker type accommodation for the price paid. I think its value for price in such a very high cost of living city like Melbourne where it would be very rare to get this reasonable price accommodation in such an expensive city like Melbourne.

Only 2 toilet and 2 showers I think is not enough for all women on busy season. No open windows so is a little hard keep airer the room. If you like to cook the kitchen is small, sometimes you can't find space to seat :/

The lack of staff on-site combined with the fact that anyone can enter if they know the door codes made me feel extremely unsafe. The self check-in is very convenient, but without another person there to verify who is entering and exiting the building it becomes a bit scary. For example, when my only other bunkmate, a male, came in at 2am and then immediately ran out and disappeared when he saw me, I couldn't tell if he was a registered guest or an intruder. I was terrified, and then without any staff I was not able to call anyone and make sure that I wasn't overreacting. I ended up staying awake all night because he never came back. From now on I will book only a female dorm.

The kitchen does not have enough kitchenware (2 mugs and 1 glass for 32 people!?!?!? Too few pans and pots and no sharp knife). The rooms are too small for the number of beds. It is very bad there is no one at the reception after 14/15. It is a pity that it is not possible to use its own locker and to pay a cash deposit.

Bring your own pillow if you don't want to wake up with neck pain every morning.

If you want enjoy the St Kilda beach or Luna Park is a good location. Also is plenty of restaurants and cafes around.

Bad management. If you want to check in you have to go to nearest restaurant and look for a lady who will check you in. She is always busy and you have to wait long time when she finally check you in. There was always problem to book a room. They randomly thick all beds are occupied when hostel is really empty inside. I think you can't book in the weekend becuase staff is busy in the restaurant. Lady who is checked in People was rude to me, becuase I didnt book a room for Long period but extended my stay and she had to come to hostel check me in. No sign where hostel is and how to find a staff At peak season dorm had only 2 mattress for 6 beds. A bit weird.

My recent stay at this hostel was nothing short of a nightmare. Upon arriving at the agreed time of 10 PM, I was met with a room that had no windows and an overwhelming smell of mold and feet. To my dismay, my bed was not prepared; there was only a bare mattress covered in plastic. I attempted to contact the property owner for assistance, but my efforts have been ignored to this day. Forced to make do, I removed the plastic and slept on the mattress using a used blanket provided by another guest, a leftover from someone who had checked out. The bathroom lacked even the basic courtesy of a hook to hang a towel, and the entire facility reeked with no services in sight. This experience was appalling and I would strongly advise against staying here. It was uncomfortable, unwelcoming, and utterly disappointing.

stay during the easter week end( 3days). Was dirty every where, kitchen(food, dust,) too little btw one table 3 chairs for all of us, one fridge didn't really works 'cause full af. Only one dirty and wet tea towel for everybody. Restroom (run out toilet papper, the most on the flor) reception area carpet dirty no ones care, rooms (dusty, dirty towel, corn flakes, pizza food caterboard, items under the bed, smell). hours reception are 10 - 4 p.m and 8-11 on ly see someone at 10 around an hour. I heard about short staff or no one supposed to work 'cause was a public holiday. This is hospitality lol. In these cases do not accept guest/backpackers or less than possible rather than increase your profit. See you never.

I wasn’t able to be in my assigned bed because someone had claimed it. The floors, beds, bathrooms, sheets and facilities were really dirty and poorly taken care of.

The rooms smell and there are no windows to open. The bathrooms and kitchen don’t get cleaned very often. One day there was no one at reception and they didn’t answer the phone. People who booked couldn’t check-in and had to search for an empty bed. You have to walk down a dirty alley to get to the hostel.

I stayed for three nights. The floors in the whole place were filthy and not cleaned the whole time I was there. The bathrooms are disgusting and are also not cleaned regularly. No staff on site on a Sunday so blocked toilets no toilet paper and over flowing smelly bins were an issue! The dorms were dirty, as was reception area and kitchen was disgusting. Dead rat in laneway. To get a locker you need $20 cash, good luck getting it back if you need to leave before 11am. No staff onsite and no refund policy. Disgusting place.

The staff were very rude. I had to wait four hours to check in because they didn’t send me a check in code and didn’t have anyone working at the dorms. When I asked for help woman rolled her eyes at me. The kitchen, bathrooms, and dorm were not clean at all. Would not recommend.

There’s a great vibe about this place. Located in a Laneway, the hostel is away from the noise and traffic. It’s right in the central part of St Kilda, with plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars. The beach is about a 5 minute walk. Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking to stay in a excellent location and not spend much for it.

Poor customer care service after taking money

I booked it via booking.com and paid full amount before I reach. They reserved me bed no 4. But when I go their some one is on my bed and he said the manager gave that bed for him. I was so disappointed and spent the night without sleeping. I tried to contact the management so many times and couldn’t. I booked it and paid for 7 days . But I spent my 1st day without sleep and left the premises. Still They didn’t contact me. Very bad bad customer care service. Really. I’m so disappointed about this unmanaged premises. If u can plz return my money.
