having somewhere to eat, finding out 1 week prior to arriving that the on site restaurant was going to be closed, along with a few others in the area made eating out choices a little scarce.

Very comfortable, very peaceful, a very short walk to the beautiful bay, all facilities you need to stay comfortably, cooking, washing etc. all available in room.

A coffee machine would have been the icing on the cake.

The setting was gorgeous, The room was fabulous and that view was amazing! Sitting in bed, with a coffee, watching sunrise was just lovely. The bath with a view was a great touch, the whole room was well set out, clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Great location, it is located at Stewart Bay. Next to Tasman Island Cruise office, and if you are taking the cruise (it is a must) then this hotel is the best option. There is also a General Store selling the daily necessities and also some hot food. The cabin is self contained. There are cooking and washing facilities. Super convenient.

The living room heater is not working (cabin 16) and there is no heater in the bathroom, only hot water. It would be nice to have one as the weather is very chill.

Self contained unit with cooking facilities and washer dryer. Our balcony overlooks Stewart Bay, it is beautiful. It is within walking distance to the Tasman Island Cruise Office makes it a very convenient place to stay. The general store (convenient store) is also there, super easy.

The room was otherwise tired, and some of the facilities (like car park paths and lighting) were in need to maintenance.

Sometimes, all you want for are a comfortable bed, and a hot shower. The positivity of these two elements can overcome everything else. The pillows in this hotel were absolutely first class, and the shower was hot and strong. Brilliant. Bonus points for a Wifi enabled TV, that allowed us to stream our subscriptions.

Everything was marvellous. Such a quiet and relaxing place to stay. The accommodation was superb, a real home from home and the bed was the best we’ve had in Tassie. All the staff were friendly and helpful including at the lovely restaurant on site called On The Bay. Only a short walk from the Port Arthur historic site and positioned on the beautiful Stewart’s Bay.
