Not to have all the cleaning equipment in the wardrobe as it takes up a lot of hanging space. Who wants their clothes touching cleaning equipment

Communication wasn't fantastic. No correspondence with host during stay. Difficult to carry large suitcases up & down stairs to apartments as there's no lifts. Air con could probably do with an upgrade for larger space. New door was not closing/ locking properly. Also, no info booklet about apartment or Airlie Beach in general.

Great location. Very close to main part of town, however it's an extremely steep hill to walk to the apartments. Large area inside apartment though. Pool at venue was handy, as was the bar and restaurant.

Bathroom was a little tired but clean.

The location was right in town, easy access to town facilities, shops, restaurants & cafe's. the bed was comfortable and the view from the balcony was great, looking out to the Coral sea. would stay here again.

Cleanliness and overall maintenance. Lots of things noted on previous posts are not fixed such as broken cupboard doors, dirty balcony, dirty\ stained toilet, rusty drainer. No access to pool unless you had a fob which isnt provided.

The door could not shut properly, its required door handle from the inside. Very uncomfortable and loud noise to get in and out of the room.

The door! needs attention and door handle. we got our hands jammed up too trying to open it, plus everyone could hear you leave and get home. also thought we had walked into someone else apartment initially- the half bottles of shampoo in the bath…. originally very confused.

Door jammed on the floor and was near impossible to open or close. NO door handles so only finger tips could be used. Room was not clean and cooking equipment was dirty and old. It was up the hill in the Terraces which is where we wanted to avoid, Poor property description

The 17 stairs I had to go down with a large suitcase. The door was very difficult to open as it catches the floor 3 times before you can access. The shower is over the bath,really a hazard for mature people. The toilet bowl had black stains from old age. One of the sliding wardrobe doors was completely off & between a wall & the fridge. I had to mop the kitchen area floor as there was drink stains visible. The balcony area had 6 cigarette butts on the floor. The portable oven with cooking rings on top was rusted.

Comparing prices with other Whitsunday Terraces accommodation I believe we paid too much for the room.

Nice view, good balcony area, very comfy bed, quiet, smart TV & close to cafe's & supermarket. If you could get this room for a cost effective price and have no expectations of a fancy room then that it would be fine.

It is a little dated. Need more storage space for clothing and such. You can hear sounds/noise from the connecting door where the bed is. Needs an inside table. Cannot always eat on the balcony. The description of just ‘Streaming’ is mis-leading. Need to add that an internet connection is required for streaming seeing that the unit does not have any internet.

No WiFi and terrible service in the property No chopping board for the kitchen No remote for the aircon, so could not adjust or turn off. Aircon was leaking and the water came into the flat and wet out bags left under the bench in the apartment. Tried to contact the manager of the apartment but they were not responsive and didn’t respond to my voicemails.

Toothpaste, soaps and a nice selection of towels provided. Good location.

I was sent the wrong code, so initially after several attempts couldn't get in. Called the contact number and had be sent the wrong one. When I asked about the a/c was sent a message with instructions - I could not get it to work.

Very unhygienic. Had to wash every piece of cutlery, cups & plates as cutlery drawer was dirty and had to wipe the dirt out of drawer. Did not use air con as the filter grill was filthy and coated in grime. Found rubbish behind furniture. Towels smelt musty. Grout in bathroom and floor tiles black and dirty/mouldy.

The unit is in need of maintenance, and a very good cleaning. The wardrobe doors could not open as they are off the tracks. Lots of half used shampoo and conditioners and other bottles litter the top of the wardrobe. Toilet is badly stained and has been for some time, screws hanging out of wall in bathroom at a level that is dangerous for legs. No smoke alarm was fitted, there is evidence that a battery one was at one time fitted to the side of wardrobe. Door to adjoining unit behind bed has large gap under door. Old half used food containers in cupboards, some form of colored ice blocks in freezer. Old, stained towels along with new ones provided, tape washers need replacing. The unit is within the Whitsunday Terraces Resort, however as it is privately rented and has nothing to do with the resort. It was advertised with a pool; this could not be used as no fob was provided to access this pool area. The unit location is up a steep hill and very difficult getting to it with bags. When you get to foyer level you then have to descend down two stair levels to access apartment. Rang the number provided on several occasions but could not make contact with the host. Information provided by email for unit access is outdated and confusing.

The entire stay frustrating as on the 1st night we had an intruder access the unit looking for his schoolie friends whom had been occupying the unit the nights previous to us arriving. Security and management at the complex advised us the room had been used as a party room and many people were coming and going all day and night from that unit and they'd had numerous complaints regarding noise and parties. I contacted the owner/manager of this unit through booking.com requesting the access code be reset as I did not feel safe sleeping there or leaving our valuables/belongings in the room. I emailed them numerous times and never got a response. They literally just took my money and I was left to fend of intruders in the middle of the night! Cleanliness was a major issue, it took 3 of us an hour to clean it properly after the cleaner had been in but to her defence it had been left in a shocking state and I have the photos to prove it. The photos of the unit online at booking.com certainly don't reflect the reality of what it is. I would never recommend anyone to stay here, ever!!! I will be publishing reviews with photos on other booking platforms to warn others

When we arrived we couldn't open the door as it scrapped along the concrete and was very noisy and hard to open. there was no knob to open the door, we had to try and grab the code panel. There were personal belongings of other guest left behind and also food left behind. the spare toilet paper on the floor in a basket was wet. the oven was absolutely dirty. I honestly think the price we were charged for this room was very overprice, it was more like a hostel environment.

The view was amazing.
