How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

My 3rd time here now and it has become my go to accommodation when staying in Mudgee. Has everything you need, close to nearby pubs and breweries.

The Studio was quaint, clean and super cosy. We had everything we needed during our stay and even had breakfast provided for us. Donna was a fabulous host and sent us thorough instructions before our departure (she even popped the heating on for us before our arrival as we were getting in late in the evening). Donna also provided us with plenty of recommendations on things to do/places to see during our stay, which was very much appreciated. We felt very taken care of and cannot recommend The Studio more to anyone who is looking to explore Mudgee.

Nothing at all.
We enjoyed our stay in the Tiny House. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable with everything we needed . It was a very quiet location with an easy walk to the centre of town.

I had a wonderfull time so nothing i dislike.
Stunning Studio in the heart of Mudgee with all amenities within 5-10 min walk, also conveniently close to all wineries in the area. The studio was beautifully presented with comfortable bed and sofa, kitchen and bathroom were larger than in the pictures. Studio was well equipped and had everything i needed, even Donna provided me with a phone charger which i forgot at home ;) Having access to the pool and to the outdoor area was a highlight !!! Donna & Ellie made me feel at home and will definitely stay next time i visit Mudgee- Thank you ;)

Our accommodation was very clean and comfortable and our host was lovely. The location was only a short walk to the town centre. There was lots to do. The Flavours of Mudgee festival is a must do.

We had 2 nights at Studio on Lewis. The location was great, the bed was comfortable and the studio was very clean. It had everything that you would need for a short stay. The granola, yoghurt and fruit provided for breakfast as well as the coffee pods and biscuits were a lovely touch. Good communication with the host. Thankyou Donna for a great stay. Would love to stay again next time we are in Mudgee😊

Renovations during the stay were noisy and inconvenient. Could have some bread with butter, vegemite, etc. sachets for breakfast toast.
Very clean, beautifully decorated little space. Great communication with owner who was accommodating to any needs during the stay. Breakfast was good and the location is perfect.

We liked everything!
Donna thought of every detail to make our stay so enjoyable. The studio was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, beautifully styled and equipped with everything from bathroom amenities, to kitchenware, to a delicious brekky and complimentary bottle of wine. It was very conveniently located, which was excellent. It felt very private and quiet. Donna was very responsive and welcoming in all her communications. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

The studio was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The studio was private with a separate entrance. It was clean, well thought out, comfortable and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed. Check in was easy as was communication with the owner when needed.

A box of tissues is always good to have, and when asked it was provided. The scent sticks were quite strong, I’d perhaps not have them in the room next time.
Breakfast just the right amount and choice. Location great, walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. One room with space and comfort
