Keys to the room did not work and had to get them fixed a couple of times. Room had no hot water jug and night service or day phone service did not work, so had to go to reception to ask for one and that took a while to come. Parking was insufficient and difficult to find a spot to park late in the evening. Bathroom was very dark and the only light included a very noisy exhaust fan.

The location was excellent. Room ok but the shower was fantastic. Strong, hot water. Room needed a second chair and that was brought over very quickly.

Tv has only five channels. Restaurant only has frozen meals reheated as waiter confessed, including pizzas. Had chicken schnitzel which was processed rubbish. Ten dollar xxxx stubbies.

Very long queue for check in. The queue was extraordinary. I have never seen anything like it before. We checked in at about 2 pm on 26/01/24. One family cut our line and got served. My husband and I complained but the staff did not do anything about it. Although we said in front of the staff that this family should be sent to the end of the queue immediately, but they did not do this. Before checking out the lady at the counter, apologize to us about what happened as she was there too when we checked in. But things like this should have been addressed immediately there and then as this is disrespectful to all the guests who have been in line for more than 20 minutes like us.

We needed to take luggage for 2 adults and 2 small children upstairs so that was a struggle as well as the bathroom to bath a child with a large screen taking up half of the tub.. Bathroom not parent friendly. Fridge was not overly cold and freezer was iced over si could not be used.

Upon arrival we were greeted like old friends. The entire premises smelt amazing. The parking was great and the map we were provided assisted us greatly.

No reception. Difficulties finding room as two entries from car park, depending on room number. Poorly signposted.. Small ensuite means you need to squeeze in beside toilet bowl to get into shower.

Cleaning staff were very slack, we had to harrass the poor reception a few times to get a basic clean done after they missed our room and we had even directly told cleaning staff we needed the room cleaned and towels. Also over busy peaks they need security as we had to deal with banging on our door from drunk and disorderly people at all hours.

The management need to get involved in what’s coming out of the restaurant in the evenings. It’s a simple menu which is appropriate for the place. We ate there twice and the food was poorly crafted. Margherita Pizzas and ravioli are not complicated dishes.

This is a budget hotel, be aware of that. It’s a little dated but it’s very cheap. Beds are good, breaky is good (and included). Staff are friendly and helpful.

Still quite dated and beds may need to be upgraded. Have stayed many times here and seems that not all rooms have been upgraded.

Loved how accomodating staff were when concerns in room were raised. They were prompt with any request made. Love the location, very close to all attractions in the city.

There large double bed, was a sheet over both turned and didn't cover the bottom off bed, so you had 15cm off mattress showing. Place smelt like smoke and was told it was from balcony above, smell was over the top.

Property was fine but it is not new as it look in the photos. Clean in the rooms but dog and cat smell outside our room and there was a dog which staff claimed that they didn’t know about it. Staff came down and sprayed with air freshener thanks to him. Kids upstairs were running around and were too noisy at night. Hope there was a toaster in the room because sometimes people may sleep in and miss breakfast Our room phone wasn’t working so my daughter has to go to reception all the time because there was no daily cleaning, linen change etc but when we asked for anything, staffs were very helpful and supportive.

Upon our arrival, we encountered a couple of issues with our room. Firstly, there was no kettle available, and the TV was not functioning. We discovered that the antenna was not connected, requiring us to perform a scan to resolve the problem. This could pose a challenge for someone less tech-savvy. During my 7-day stay, despite being informed by reception that the room would undergo a light service (e.g., bins emptied, towels replenished, etc) at the 3-day mark, this service did not take place. The room's furniture arrangement was less than ideal, with only one chair provided. This setup would have been acceptable if there had been a couch, but without one, one of us had to resort to eating on the bed, particularly inconvenient given the lack of room servicing. Additionally, the bathroom fan, linked with the light, was excessively loud and could not be turned off separately. Moreover, the shower lacked a convenient spot to place personal soap, essential for individuals with sensitive skin who cannot use the provided hotel/motel soaps. The absence of coat hangers in the room was an inconvenience. To add to the challenges, the hallway light seeped through the bottom of the door, making it difficult to sleep. I had to improvise by placing a towel to cover the light. Perhaps installing a timed light in the hallway would resolve this issue, ensuring a more comfortable sleeping environment. Parking proved to be a consistent challenge, as finding a spot daily was a struggle. It would enhance the experience if rooms had allocated parking spaces. Overall, while there were some issues, addressing these concerns would significantly improve the stay.

The breakfast was delicious; however, arriving just 30 minutes before closing meant there was hardly any hot food remaining, and it wasn't replenished. On a positive note, the air conditioning was working well.
