The convenience of where it was located, outside of Townsville. Staff were politely and friendly (definitely made the stay more enjoyable) and the facilities were excellent, clean and welcoming.

Noise from the highway, has microwave, cups ,spoon but no plates or bowls. Lacking in utensils and facilities. Parking area in front of our unit needed attention , vine was touching car

It was very clean and tidy for a motel outside of city limits. We only stayed one night but it was comfortable enough for a longer stay.

Wi- not very good… but not a great problem if you can use your own. Highly recommend this property and would stay again.

Very impressed with presentation, cleanliness, very good price and service. Also the owner took the time to tell us about the attractions in the area. The motel is called Sunbird as the birds around the property are the Sunbird breed, very pretty.

There were little cickroaches 🪳 that made me very uncomfortable. Beside as its next to motorway you would hear truck noise. The stuff was fine though

It is an older complex adjacent to the A1. So a bit noisy.

It is a low-budget motel. Very clean, and everything you need was there, fridge, microwave, cups etc. Not something you go to for a holiday, but it is very suitable for overnight stay or work related low-cost accommodation.

The room looks pretty sad, decor looks old, room is pretty dark. Mattress was fine but other furniture wasn’t the most comfortable. No forks, knives or plates, only mugs and one spoon. Location not the best, just next to a big road so very noisy at day and night, we could hear the cars all night long. The sink kept making a loud noise all night long and kept waking us up so we haven’t been able to sleep well. We booked a night here because we were exhausted from sleeping in our van since we’re traveling but we finally didn’t get the rest we wanted because of all the noise. Wanted to let the owner know about that but no one was at the reception when we left at 10am (check out time, which is pretty early) even though we waited 10 minutes (finally met a cleaner who told us what we were supposed to do with the key). It says you can call a phone number if reception is unattended but there was absolutely no phone connection at this place. I think it doesn’t worth the price since we have been able to find a much better room in Townsville center for the same price.

The room was big and the place was very clean. Wifi was working very well.

Hmm.....the air conditioner did not have a remote. It was not possible to wash up as there was no dishwashing detergent, or dishcloth provided.

The location and surrounds were good, and somewhat private, even though on the main road. The room was a good size. As a smoker it was great that I could smoke outside my room at the table and chairs provided.

Nothing was a good stay.

Bed was vwey comfortable and shower was good flow and hot. Room very tidy and clean. Very quiet considering location. Tea and coffee facilities on point.
