Nothing to dislike

Peter is a great host, arranging transfers, offers to arrange excursions and recommendations of places to eat. Added little touches like water chilling in the fridge, complimentary use of umbrellas and sun tan lotion was a lovely touch. This is great value for money if you want a no thrills place to stay - and you don’t mind a sort walk up a hill. A great location with great views.

Not a big issue but limited kitchen utensils. While an easy walking distance to the main streets of Airlie, the hill was a little too steep for older relative.

Large studio with water and marina views in quieter Airlie location. Close to all Airlie facilities. Friendly and helpful staff.

Clean, well equipped, fabulous view of the Marina especially at sunset. Room overlooked pool. Peter the owner very helpful, even arranged out transfers. Also nice and close to the Main Street.

In general the accessories provided were not of the quality we expect from an establishment charging $250 a night. Examples: no face tissues, threadbare towels, a tiny bar of soap and terrible quality made in China shampoo sachets that we required scissors to open (the scissors were poor quality too). The cheap hairdryer was full on or off. We were supplied with 6 milk pots between 2 of us for a 4 night stay during the previous weeks of travel cartons of milk were provided. Additional supplies were readily made available as were pool towels. We provided feedback direct to the owner which was politely received.

Quiet hilltop location close to the town. The town of Airlie attracts a lot of younger travellers and can be lively in the evenings, so we appreciated being slightly remote. Our apartment was spacious, and we had a great view over the marina from the patio area. The swimming pool was adequate and welcoming in the heat.

The shampoo sachets were a joke. I think they were trick sachets. If you could get them open you would be lucky to find 1 - 2 ml of shampoo in them. Walking up the hill to get to the place was hard work.

The view over the Coral Sea Marina and Pioneer Bay was stunning, including the view from the pool. The pool was beautiful and clean and cool. Selina couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, the perfect hostess. A great friendly and casual holiday vibe to the place.

Room could do with a few homely touches, maybe a picture on the bare walls. The lights don't come on until after dark around the BBQ. Difficult and dangerous to cook. Cheap and nasty toiletries. Corners being cut.

Great view. Celina was great. She helped with a few issues very professionally. Lovely pool. Very good BBQ.

The view from our apartment was amazing! Out of hours check in went smoothly. Close proximity/walking distance to the restaurants, marina, beach. Friendly staff. We would return if in Airlie Beach again and highly recommend a stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay here. The manager, Celena, was really friendly and chatty. Our air-conditioned studio was very clean and well-equipped, and had an amazing sea view from the terrace - I don’t think you could ever get tired of that! It was lovely sitting out there for breakfast. We also loved the peaceful location - in a quiet residential area, yet still just a 5-minute walk down a (very steep!) hill to many restaurants and bars.
