Not enough powerpoints/plugs in rooms for guests; no lamps only the main lights; parking situation while free is super limited and tight.

Great location, decent size dorm rooms, easy check in and out procedure. I found the beds really comfy but they are on the firmer side which may not be to everybody's liking.

When showered it got the whole bathroom wet, no where to hang towels in bathroom, no shelves in shower so your items have to sit in floorand no shelf at sink to place syd white brushing teeth or getting ready.

Had parking, great price, laundry machine free(detergent and dryer are not), large kitchen with tons of fridge space.

Although it was easiy-ish to find car park off the street, the way the ad is advertised as free parking it doesnt specify it only has 3-6 car spots so this was a little disappointing.

Staff extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. Location was really good. Facilities for short and long stay are really good. good backpackers vibe!

The water pipes made really weird loud noises, sometimes the shower leaked (sometimes it didn't, it was a bit random). There was only one power inlet in a corner of the room (for 6 pax) which was a bit annoying. The private bathroom didn't have soap or towels to wash/dry your hands, that would have been nice. The kitchen closed very early. It said there was parking available but there were only 3 spots and they were taken. Parking outside is free but is 3P so you have to move your car every three hours!

Its quite close to the beach. The receptionist is a sweetheart, super helpful.

The bathroom door in my room didn't close properly (neither locks anymore) and tends to open by itself so that's uncomfortable when you're the only female in the dorm, especially cause the toilet was in front of that door.. (The other common bathroom was closed every night) The bunk beds are really shaky, if one or the other person moves even a bit, the whole bed is shaking a lot so I couldn't sleep well cause my roommate was moving quite a lot. Also there was one missing bar on the bed ladder so the one on the top bed had to jump loudly to climb out of the bed, not convenient at all, needs to be fixed The room rate was a bit expensive because it was a long weekend with a bank holiday

Make sure u place the bunk bed the righr way in the room for example having the steps of the bunk bed not facing the wall but the centre of the room . It was dangerous to have the steps and the edge of the above bed placed against the wall and not facing the centre of the room. Shower needs to be fixed. Maintenace for the room would be a gd thing to do . I didnt like the fact that in a long weekend u have a lot of restrictions and pressure resulting fron the surrounding building aboit the noise at night in an early time when everyone must have the right to be partying and having a gd time ..

I like the activities u have got despite the fact that they r not great and would be nicer to renew or fix them up such as the basket ball and the pingpong..

Great for the young ones, not so great for older folk. Loud music until 10 pm. Ok to join in for a bit of fun.

Continental breakfast provided was lacking coffee mugs. Kitchen poorly equipped. All mugs had been taken to rooms by long term guests. Each day at breakfast there were no coffee mugs. Swimming pool was small and poky looking but fortunately hostel is located very close to the beautiful beach.

Staff cool, friendly and helpful. Well located close to Broadbeach and on the tram line. Some distance from the partying noise of Surfers Paradise. Comfortable spacious ensuite dorms. I was on the GC for Broadbeach blues festival and was very happy with the convenient location and good value of the hostel.
