Some areas of our hotel room didn't seem completely clean. The gym was a little disappointing. Some areas of the facilities looked like they had significant wear and needed repairs and maintenance. However, most of the property seemed very nice.

They acknowledged our anniversary and provided complimentary wine, dessert, and parking. It was a nice gesture that made us feel like we weren't being nickeled and dimed and set a positive tone for our stay.

Would like to see a couple of adult levels only. While we were travelling with grandchildren and their parents they were on another level which was fine but what spoilt it was kids running up and down the hallway ringing other peoples room bells and yelling at each other at 630am while waiting to go down to breakfast. Not the hotels fault

Staff so friendly and helpfull. Like service used to be . They were outstanding with the small children Fantastic breakfast. Very comfortable rooms that were cleaned well everyday

The location is a bit far from the beach. Car parking is not free and you need to pay $24 per day. I was also told booking via booking.com is not eligible for Marriott Bonvoy points, which is disappointing.

Best thing of JW Marriott Gold Coast is the no doubt the pools, both my 10 year old and 14 year old love the pools. My 70+ year old parents also enjoyed the pools. Beds are comfy. We're grateful that the two rooms are just opposite and one room was upgraded to an ocean view room. Breakfast is great.

If you just wanted a light sandwich or salad for lunch, there was nowhere to go. I just wanted a light healthy dinner sometimes, but all the meals are big and expensive too. The seafood buffet is very expensive - at $140 per person we couldn't afford this for a family of four. But many very rich people stay at this hotel, so I guess no issue for them. In the room there was nowhere to hang things! Only two hooks for towels (we had two teens in the room also) and nowhere to hang wet bathers etc. A line across the bath would have been good.

So luxurious! Fantastic Pool and lagoon with many different areas. Spacious. Excellent breakfast buffet. Beautiful quiet and stylish rooms. Staff were amazing.

Really struggling for a negative but the games room could benefit from some younger children games.

The facilities could not be faulted. It was beautiful and everything was high quality. The pools were amazing and the food delicious. Lots of choice.

The rooms are tiny. Even if you book a double room to fit 4 people, it is still a double bed with limited walking space. Roll out beds only offered for a King Suite, which means 1 king bed and a roll away bed at additional cost.

The pool is what keeps us coming back. Sandy lagoon, lazy river, slide, and other pools plus a waterfall. Bar access right in the centre. Seafood and breakfast buffet was beautiful. The new games arcade with movie nights was a hit with the kids.

The lifts taking too long and the beds otherwise everything else was great these would be the main things to be updated.

The whole shebang from start to finish the hospitality the customer service the buffet restaurant the garden bar the pools were somewhat amazing the food was also spectacular.

Beautiful hotel and the facilities are amazing (and clean). The pool is exceptional as is the buffet breakfast. This hotel is particularly good for children and teenagers as there is lots to do. The pool and slide were a huge hit.

Cost of the kids program (decorating cup cakes) was a bit high. I’ve stayed at other similar hotels where that kind of activity was free.
