The cleanliness. This is an accommodation where they try to save money by asking the guests to clean when they leave but we had to sweep and mop when we arrived as the floor was filthy. Because it is a guest-cleaned facility the dust collects in all the places not frequently used like on the skirting boards (and I was thankful we went in autumn and not in summer so didn't need the bedroom fan, which looked like it had accumulated years' worth of dust). Rather charge a bit extra and have the rooms professionally cleaned.

Location was great as it was close to the town but remote enough to be peaceful and it has a lovely beach attached to it. The lady who is, I presume, the caretaker is incredibly helpful and very friendly. The accommodation was big enough for us and the room facilities were pretty adequate (even had a Nespresso pod machine).

Didn’t have a washing machine. Couch wasn’t suitable for 4 people, in a two bedroom for 4 people the couch was only comfy for 2 people. The downfall of the location is the re is no beach, the inlet was close but I wouldn’t swim there, eels and lots of little jellyfish. The driveway to the property from the main road needs to be fixed with asphalt, it’s too unstable and too much movement when driving.

It was clean and had all you needed, washing line with pegs was great!

Picking up keys and returning keys from the real estate was an inconvenience. Paid over $1400 for 3 nights and didn’t enjoy completely cleaning the property as we left. Mandatory cleaning included putting dishes away, vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning mirrors and glass. It was also a shame to require so many $1 coins for laundry, it would be great if each room had a washing machine. Also beds were not made, we had to make them ourselves upon arrival. It didn’t feel like a resort, it felt more like a self contained unit.

The staff were helpful at the real estate. It was tidy. The kids enjoyed the play area.

It lacked a bit of ‘soul’ no one really there to welcome you or tell you about the place, which is filled with bird life and wildlife, so there is no knowledge sharing. The property is run by the local real estate agents, which is fine - but it just lacks a personal touch. However it’s a great property and this is really the only fault. I would have liked to learn more about the inlet. Also good to be aware that this property is 45mins from Husskinson - so quite a drive, which I would not recommend doing at night as the roads are not well lit. People in Sussex Inlet were lovely however and everything you could need is there. Including a great brewery called Swordfish.

Very clean and spacious accommodation. Fully renovated units with well equipped kitchens and lovely toiletries included. Property is next to Sussex inlet with direct access to the inlet and Cudimurrah Beach is a lovely walk around the inlet in the afternoon. Excellent spot for fishing and swimming but you must be careful when swimming as the current is very strong at all times of the day. Coin operated laundry facilities provided too which is a bonus. Internet access was never a problem if you need it.

Good value for money, great to have a small swimming pool, so the children could swim - the currents were too strong in the innlet. Great size unit, parking space.

Not enough cooking utensils. We don't have the blanket on the first night, luckily we brought our own sleeping bags.

Excellent environment, clean, tidy. Beach just a minute away unfortunately it is a smaller one. BBQ facilities are very good. Accommodation is spacious, clean and beds are comfortable. To have a cup of tea or coffee at the lovely deck in the front is a good start of the day.

It was not very clean, we booked for three people and only the queen bed had been made up for us.The fridge had not been wiped out. There was a half eaten chocolate bar in one of the cupboards.My socks were caked with hair from walking on the carpet in the main bedroom. The vacuum cleaner had not been emptied for some time and the head would not stay on when you tried to use it.

The location was fantastic. A short stroll to the water. It was lovely.
