How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Rusted washing drying rack. Instructions should include that remote control of parking is attached to the keys.
Good size for family. Had everything we needed. Very good, quick and friendly communication with property management. Compliments.

If I have to say anything negative, it is that I have sinus issues and the fabric softener used was very overwhelming.
Beautiful apartment that is in immaculate condition. Some thoughtful touches and nice coffee.

The only thing that would have improved the stay for us was if the 2nd bedroom had 2 single beds rather than a double. This is because our sons don't sleep well when they have to share a bed.
The apartment was very clean, comfortable & well appointed. The shower was excellent-hot with great water pressure. The bed was very comfortable & the kitchen was equipped with everything you need to cook a full meal.

Although every effort was made to make finding the parking spot easy, it still took some finding! I’d suggest having a sign on the cage above the parking spot with Home sweet home on it!
Very clean and comfortable with all amenities that we could need. Host had excellent communication and checked that we had got in ok.

I just wish it is a bit closer in walking distance to public transport but it was not an issue.
The property was really clean and has ample space. I really appreciate the fact that there are 2 separate bathrooms.

Slight hiccup in gaining access however once I contacted them by phone they sorted it out immediately.
Very comfortable and clean and location suited our purpose well. They were also accomodating to our needs for a slightly earlier arrival.

Not one thing.
The attention to detail is second to none in this outstanding apartment!!! It has everything & anything that you may require. Perfect positioning above a supermarket and walking distance to hospitals. The communication was amazing. Parking was an extra luxury we needed. Beds were super comfy. We are from the country and found the apartment super quiet for a city apartment. We’ll be back for sure!! Thank you.😊💕

No faults with my stay here.
We loved the space and the different rooms. The balcony area was really nice to chill out area too. There were snacks in the room and bathrooms had plenty of space. The room was super clean and the beds were nice and comfy.

The Host did help a lot with this sending multiple videos and photos of how to get to the carpark and from the carpark to the unit but it is very much a maze. Without the hosts help would not have found anything. We got a little lost from the apartment back to our car and needed to watch a video in reverse to figure out the fire door to carpark was from level 2 not Ground Floor but it all worked out and I would 100% stay here again
Amazing and tidy 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. Easy walking distance to Train station and with supermarket in same complex. Value for money can't be beaten and was much cheaper than a lot of other options but also nicer than most places I have stayed.

Very quick response from the owner. You will have everything you need. Clean and very comfortable. Feel like stay home. Kitchen full of utensils, including rice cooker. Supermarket is downstairs.

Well, it is perfect so nothing to complain about
- Very clean, every equipment is in good condition - Well-equipped with everything under your need + Many utensils (even have enough for you to throw a small party) + Surprisingly have the full haircare set - Chilling by the balcony with a beautiful view was quite enjoyable - Bathrooms are large and nice - Supermarket downstairs - Just take 3 minutes to walk to the bus stop and 5-7 minutes to the tram station, Melbourne airport takes 20 minutes by car

Having 2 bathrooms was excellent. Nice to have the balcony with a nice outlook. A generous supply of household items was appreciated and certainly gave a homely feel about the apartment. Modern and clean amenities also made us feel at home. Good communication from the owner.

The car park for the apartment building is a bit narrow, especially for larger vehicles like SUVs. A little bit confusing finding the specific car spot for our apartment, but the hosts provided us with a detailed video that showed us where to go.
The hosts provided us with detailed instructions in entering our apartment. They communicated clearly with me before our arrival at the apartment. The apartment itself was generous with the space that accommodates for 4 people. The facilities and products provided in the apartment were exceptional. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.
