Nothing really. Just two minor observations. Single showers could be a tiny bit bigger. And the mirror in the bathroom bit too high for me…but I’m 5.1’ ;-)

My stay at The Swell was absolutely great! From the staff being so attentive and friendly, and the property being so stunning! Loved the decor and the location was perfect. I got lost a few times in the big super cosy and comfy bed :) was in town for the tango festival so didn’t spend much time using the facilities. Next time for sure! Loved it!

Our room was very dark especially in the bathroom , we couldn’t open blinds as other visitors were walking by on both sides of room . I found it difficult to apply makeup as couldn’t see much in bathroom. I love natural light and we just didn’t get any in room .

The lady during the check-in was super sweet! We were in Byron Bay for a day only but because of her we saw a lot of the highlights: sunrise at the lighthouse, farmer market and the amazing beach. In addition, she gave us good tips for restaurants. The accommodation was very clean and fashionable, has a lot of facilities and the technology works well. I would recommend this property to everyone!!

Beautifully designed - great renovation. Great facilities with the sauna, ice bath and pool. The team were so helpful with anything we needed. Will definitely be back.

Could use some more sunbeds in the pool area- at times there were not enough available. Umbrellas could also be positioned to provide shade for all sunbeds.

Gorgeous new property! The lush gardens are divine. The pool, sauna and ice bath facilities are fantastic. The garden deluxe room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The in room cocktails add a nice touch! The staff were also fantastic, they went out of their way to make you feel welcome and offered superior service at all times.

There were dead bugs left behind after a daily clean. Live mosquitos in batheroom. maybe a screen would help? No tissue box in room.

no wardrobe in the rooms. room cleaning was v light touch. would have like sand vacuumed out of room and bath room sink wiped. the only thing room servicing included was making the bed and refreshing water.

Limited shade around the pool and garden cafe area. Need some alternative solutions so guests can enjoy the outside space when it’s really hot. Shower pressure could improve. Pool is also on the small side- a little too intimate if more than 2 couples are in the pool at same time.

Trendy and well maintained facilities. Love the music playing by the pool and throughout the hotel.

We had quite a few mossies in our room on the first night, we found it was coming through the bathroom window. After blocking it, it was fine for the rest of our stay.

totally overrated. It is a former drive in motel, quite nice design, staff around but not attentive, no towels no water no service at the pool. almost 400 AUD is really too much.

Lighting in bathroom was terrible. Looks great but very impracticable . No wardrobe/closet for clothes and no full length mirror. Disappointing. Especially for the price!

The lack of room servicing and clean towels, no breakfast room and I was charged for a deluxe room and given a lower grade room breakfast I was taken because of this which consisted of a very limited menu, toast or a croissant and tea Also very noisy until late at night as there is a large pub behind the hotel

The rooms were beautifully clean and tasteful furnished, very good location
