Lift wasn't working (for the entire week I stayed). While the staff was kind enough to move me to a lower floor on my second day, the building is ancient with steep steps. It got exhausting and I would have hoped the hotel gave me a discount/ upgrades or something to make up for it No guest laundry. Items can be anywhere btw 20-30 AUD per piece to launder. Facilities are really basic - you do have a kettle and hair dryer. But the rooms are tiny and incredibly steeply priced.

Wifi was excellent Staff is helpful Centrally located, well connected to everything 10% discounts on two good restaurants right next door Basic housekeeping done everyday ensures a clean room and sustainable premises - glad that they have good products in the shower without disposable containers Room had a system for cooling and heating - which was very comfortable

The elevator wasn’t working throughout our stay, this meant we had to go up and down 6 flights of stairs. Our bathroom door also didn’t shut which was fine as a couple but can imagine this may be awkward for some.

The staff were very friendly and the bed was comfortable. Good location.

Staff who was disdainful when I arrived with a backpack, despite having a booking and being obviously older than the average backpacker. The room was also very small.

Bathroom wasn’t very clean - specifically the shower. Lots of mould coming off the door and around the edges.

You can hear everything between rooms very clearly. Plus the room I was given didn’t look like the photos so felt like I was given wrong room they didn’t check booking upgrade. Or the photos and floor plan is misleading.

Bathroom basin clogged with hair...TV not switched on behind unit...Noisy buzzing fridge...No mention of parking vouchers...Elevator stopped working.

No bin, only the small one in the bathroom. The safe one day just turned off in the morning then in the afternoon it was working again. After cleaning they turned on the air conditioning and when we returned it was crazy cold. Once they cleaned the bathroom but bed was just left as we left in the morning. Even we didn’t left the towels on the floor it was exchanged daily. No storage for clothes.

Location is perfect and also the price was fair. 24/7 reception was helpful as we left at 4am.

Small room, lift wasn't working properly, lady on check in wasn't the happiest/smiliest. Bathroom needed a larger sink, with towel racks so towels dry and one can place their washbag to access toiletries. Also carridors need a new carpet, it dirty, dusty and stale smelling.

Comfortable bed and shower. Balcony was also very welcome.

Room was odd shaped and therefor blocking access to one side of bed and made it complicated for luggage, noise till about 10pm from restaurant.

Bed is a bit on the soft side. Shower head pressure is too low. Walls are on the thin side so could hear outside noise - my room was next to the lift so I could hear the lift motor and the voice ‘going up’, ‘going down’

The window was very small, but it wasn't really a problem, because I was only at the hotel to sleep.

The carpet was old, broken rubbish bin. No slippers available. The air con was broken as well. The blanket were unusual as they only provided sheets and no quail cover. There were dust on top shelf in every wardrobes.

The room was tiny if you were a bit on the large side you would have no chance moving about in the bathroom. The tiny step up to the bathroom made us stub our toe numerous times, bad design choice. The shower water pressure was extremely low and made it difficult to wash your hair. The toilet paper was awful, I’m all about saving the world but it literally just disintegrates.

The location and the lobby were great. Staff were friendly and helpful.
