Beds, furniture, elevators. Location of our room was overlooking the big cranes from the construction site…. Wasn’t expecting that!

Hotel is in a fabulous location. Rooms were large, but bed was ver uncomfortable. Our mattress had a big indent which madesleeping non existent. My husband had to put a towel on the floor and sleep on the floor at night. Furniture is very outdated, and chair in the room is uncomfortable too. We were on the 16 th floor and had to wait up to 15 minutes for the elevators. We were there 8 days, annd waiting around for the elevators got really annoying. Everyone was complaining. Overall, the hotel is in a fantastic location. So if you don’t mind the negatives, this is the place for you!

Lifts very very slow. Waited 15 minutes one morning. Break the same everyday. Really no variety that we could see. Overpaid by $400 as online offers for the same room we’re $400 cheaper compared to the booking I made back in December 2023 for a March 2024 stay.

I had requested a quiet room and unfortunately was appointed a room directly outside of the lifts. I went back to reception and they happily accommodated my original request- the room was very small but tranquil.

The bed frame, rolled and is unlockable. We called but the guy could not do anything. I looked under and the 6 wheels do not have locking mechanisms.

No soap at bathroom sink… had to walk into shower for hand wash. Room serviced late in day.. no bed made, had to ask for towels and to have room service tray from previous night removed. Ordered a drink at Sylvester’s Monday evening… it never was served

Very expensive restaurant and the waiter never bothered to inform us that our meal came with chips so we ordered chips as a side for an extra $15 and never ate any of them.

The lifts were not the greatest. Seemes to take a while to get up and down to your room.

Staff were fantastic. Great sized room. Drinks on arrival. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. Would highly recommend.

The rooms must've had a recent decor update but the bathrooms sadly seem like whatever update they've had was either not enough or was done extremely cheaply. The decor in the corridors on every floor don't seem to've been updated for the last thirty years however it still looks fine

Buffet breakfast had smoked salmon and a reasonably good selection of things. The breakfast area has a high atrium ceiling and is very spacious and beautifully decorated. The flower arrangements look amazing

The rooms are starting to look a little tired, the bathrooms could definitely do with an update. Only one power point next to the bed which meant that if you wanted to put a charger in you had to unplug the clock. I understand this is not something easily fixed, just more of a comment for future visitors information. We went to Silvesters for a drink on Saturday evening and they seemed very understaffed, it is table service only and it took 20 minutes to get someone to take our order (the bar was not at all busy at that time). On such a busy weekend (Taylor Swift concert weekend) it would have been good to have more staff on.

We had two rooms, we had an upgrade for one of them which was great. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient, as were housekeeping. The hotel was very full and they coped well.
