Location and locals - very rough scary area with people screaming out the front of our rooms and using drugs we were all quite scared

Felt so unsafe . There was a needle on the ground a car full of people smoking drugs in the carpark . Staff were lovely bed was comfortable but they’re the only two things I could find to be okay. As a female very unsafe place to stay to top it off people were taking photos of my friends when we were ordering drinks at the bar.

The fact that we had junkies parked right out the front of our rooms doing drugs.. then at 6am another junkie was swearing and screaming and kicking in someone’s car. We felt extremely unsafe. Terrible area.

Nothing very uncomfortable bed and everything wasn’t clean microwave dirty. First impression very bad. Apparently if u park car in front of the room thief’s break in no Camera they. Very small no value for money.

Might be a location thing, might be a low-income housing thing - domestic abuse that could be heard 3 nights of 6, one of which is yelling "call the cops". Then someone trying to open the room door at 4am - can't recommend this place at all.

OK place on the surface, clean enough, location worked well for where I was working.

The reception staff were great a lady came and welcomed myself and my grandson ( sorry I didn’t get her name but she has 4 kids of her own Thai lady is really an asset to your property). She my grandson a biscuit and a packet of chips and the she took us to our room. We were warned it might get noisy later in the night as the gaming room was open until 6 am but I had a really comfortable stay . The bed was comfortable the blinds and curtain blocked out the light . I never heard any noise and I was in the closest room to the entrance . I would recommend this property to anyone who needed an overnight stay in a clean and comfortable facility .

First Issue Wi-fi was absolutely atrocious, only ever achieving 1 bar. Spoke with Duty Manager and was advised that the Wi-Fi is controlled centrally and that they could not even reset the server. I could not use my laptop effectively with the constant drop out and request to reconnect. Furthermore, I couldn't really watch Netflix in one continuous viewing, as it took 4 hours to watch a 2 hour movie as it just kept showing unable to view due to connection issues. Posible Resolution: Either dont offer Wi-Fi, have 24 hr helpdesk for staff to contact IT or alternatively install local server for use by the hotel. Second Issue I was dragged out of my sleep, by an unknown group of 4 or 5 people, who decided at 1.52am to have a major discussion right outside my door at full volume, talking about kicking on the night elsewhere, along with showing no courtesy to any of the guests for almost 15 minutes. Then at 4.59am I was woken again by another group making unnecessary noise in the carpark and having some form of argument, before driving off loudly revving their engine. Possible Resolution: Hotel Accommodation needs to be screened off from access by Gaming Room patrons. Possible security patrols of carpark area. Not happy with overall experience

The staff were fantastic, but the Motel was supposed to have a restaurant but no it had been turned into a gambling casino that closed at 6am, absolutely disgusting. People were coming back to their rooms at 3am, 4am, 5am and 6am, very hard to get a decent sleep.

Spare fold out bed not made, although paid for. Office staff couldn't find correct bedding & just gave us what they could find. Blood or the like on toilet door frame. Dirty hand prints & splashes over bathroom door frame & door. Unsure if it was vacuumed as it certainly didn't seem like it with build up in all corners & white stuff over floor. Toilet brush full of grime. Not enough cups for amount for paying guests. Dirty cups & cutlery in cupboard. No dishcloth or teatowel. Not enough towels or fannels for paying guests. Shame as it looks like has been recently renovated & looks neat & tidy until you're in it. Shame that cleaning staff aren't taking more care to respect the recent upgrades - or if need more staff to get job done properly. Complained to office staff... got told well what do you except for a 2 star establishment... ummm well it isn't 2 star BUT even so still expect it to be clean. No food or restaurant here.

Dirty bed sheets and room. No facilities to obtain Dinner or any other food at the venue. Very limited tea and coffee, sugar which is only available from reception at 10.00am next day which is check out time. I would not consider staying there again under any cercumstances.
