The room/studio was amazing. The bed, the bathroom, the patio, the small kitchenette - everything felt really thought through and high end. Mandy was an amazing host, really responsive and catered for every wish. Her breakfast was amazing and she provided everything you could possibly need in the apartment. The location is also great - you can easily reach Shelly beach (the closest beach) in a 10-minute walk and you also reach the Port Macquarie coastal walk in 20 minutes, which is amazing. It is a 10 minute drive to the town center, which is very convenient. The location of the apartment is really calm and comforting.

Exceptional in every way! Incredibly beautiful property with first class electronic systems and furnishings that make everything simple. Immaculately clean. Incredibly quiet and private and oh so peaceful. The gardens, landscaping & indoor decor was so tasteful. The bathroom was fabulous - a full size bath and fantastic shower inside plus a gorgeous outdoor shower! The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchenette was very well stocked. I loved everything about Tallowood House! Mandy our hostess was so lovely - and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! Mandy loves looking after her guests and it shines out in every part of the Tallowood House experience. If you need a short stay in or around Port Macquarie - put this property at the top of your list!

The location was in a beautiful spot, Mandy was an excellent host providing us with the most beautiful breakfasts each morning and tidying up our room each day. The room was so comfortable and nice. It is not too far from the centre of town and the privacy of the rooms were great. Mandy was lovely to talk to and has the most beautiful fur buddy.

Such a nice place and such nice hosts! The room was very spacious and modern. We had a little terrace with view to the rainforest. There's no better place to have breakfast in the morning! Breakfast served by Mandy was the best we had in the whole of Australia! The B&B is in a quiet neighborhood, a short drive from the center and from the beaches. We absolutely loved it here and would stay here again.

Didn’t feel very private but understandable given it’s a B&B and location was a little far from main shops when comparing it to other accomodations available in Port Macquarie but overall incredible place and would definitely stay again

This isn’t necessarily bad but if you are looking to stay in a place to walk to town, this is a bit far for that. Its in a very nice quiet neighborhood though.
