Smell in corridor

The whole main corridor leading to the rooms smelt like it could do with a good air out and a Glen 20 spray

The hotel was around 1 km away from the the Myall river where most of the cafes and other restaurants were, so you had to walk or drive to get to the center, which can be a bit off-putting. The behaviour and attitude of the receptionist was really shocking! She mentioned that she was overworked and did 12 hour shifts every day 7 days a week. Her irritations and aggressive mannerisms and conversations made us feel very unsafe to ask her anything and we tried to avoid her as much as we could. Still her remarks were very taunting, derogatory and we didn't feel welcomed at all. The best news we heard on the day we checked-out was that the receptionist is finishing up with the motel by end of April, which was a relief. Now I know which motel not to go to in Dubbo, where the receptionist is headed next!

The hotel was a bit dated, but everything was in good working condition, the room space, amenities (microwave, TV, mini-fridge, electric kettle, iron, bathroom), pillows/blankets were plenty and clean. The bathroom had a spa bath which was a major hit with my kid. The best part of the motel was the country club attached to it. The restaurant was brilliant, they served one of the best Chinese and Thai dishes we ever had and we ate their twice in our 3 days stay at Tea Gardens. The BWS were also reasonably priced and the lawn bowling options were an added advantage. The place was quiet relaxed and exactly like we wanted.

Very satisfied with stay.

I asked for, and got a quiet room. Hurrah. The room faced the trees, garden and bush area. It was an older style motel but very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was part of the Tea Gardens club where the food was so nice and staff and folk were so welcoming. Looking forward to return trip to see more of the village ( we stayed the night to break a long journey) . It was a great atmosphere.

Rather far from the centre of town. Bathroom quite nice, could do with some grout work.

Mattress was a bit soft and a couple of the walls need repainting that's about all :)

The room was very clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and I even got to meet the local Puss Cat :) and it was also nice having a spa in the bathroom which was very rare in a 3 star hotel I would definitely stay there again :)

I thought it was a bit pricey compared to other accommodation. but not a deal breaker.

The room was quite big. It was clean & tidy. The club was right next door. staff were helpful. must have gotten a room upgrade because we had a spa. very relaxing.
