The location of the motel is right in the heart of the town which was great, the room was very clean and well presented. It was a good price for what we received which was breakfast included. Breakfast was in the cafe across from the motel and it was hearty and delicious. Had a stroll around the town afterwards and visited some of the antique stores.

It was amazing clean and homely awesome location it so different to walk down the Main Street and be taken back to the past of a old gold mining town that hasn’t changed buildings and streets the owners of the property were great breakfast was well worth the drive over all stay first class will be returning for sure

The place was a little tricky to find as the main sign out the front said something else, I had to go around the block and take a chance as Google kept telling me it was that one. There were lots of male workers/miners staying there, so it was very noisy at periods during the night and again early in the morning with diesel utes starting up and lots of slamming of doors and talking outside which was at its worst at about 4-5am. I understand that it would be great for business of the motel, but maybe the workers could be kept up one end and other guests in one area to minimise the disturbance. A couple of women (cleaners I think) were also talking really loudly outside from about 7am when I still wanted to sleep as I'd got in late from a terribly long drive in bad conditions the day before. I ended up leaving a little earlier than planned as I just could not get back to sleep with all the noise. Also one of my towels had crusty yellow stains on it when I went to use it.

I ended up being late but kept in touch with the motel during the day and he was very friendly in his messages, as was he upon my arrival. Easy to chat to and welcoming. He offered advice on how to get room service even though it was quite late, and I got a terrific choice of included breakfasts and coffee the next morning at the cafe over the road. The room was massive, had a fantastic kitchenette with full stove and oven facilities, comfortable table and chairs. The dinner was one of the best I've had and it was delivered from restaurant over the road to my room by friendly young staff. Little bit pricey but was worth it to not have to go out again and try to find somewhere to eat.

Great value, very well located. Even supply shower caps, washers and USB ports by the bed which is a bonus in a budget motel. Older style but feels very fresh & clean. Excellent helpful staff

View of yard from room 12 back window was a tired and well below the standard of the motel overall.

Modern upgrades to the kitchenette and bathroom are great. Shower is fantastic.
