The property was clean, comfortable and cosy. We enjoyed the breakfast, champagne and chocolates which was included with our stay and took note of the efforts that had gone into making the place special. It exceeded our expectation in many ways; the view, the amenities, and the close proximity to walking tracks and the Main Street in Montville. It was the perfect spot to get away for the weekend.

Found a few random hairs on a couch and there were a couple bugs but those are very hard to avoid.

Beautiful cottage that was really well equipped. Lots of provisions and options with the breakfast provisions. Was nice and relaxing to sit and watch the birds, the feeder in the garden meant that they would come and sit super close. Margaret was delightful and I very much enjoyed my time there.

Our host Margaret was so lovely and accommodating making our anniversary extra special. The Cottage was clean, very private! We are sorry we didn't book for more than one night. We will definitely be back!

The only negative thing - which probably does have nothing to do with the accomodation as such but rather with the location - is that there were a few creepy crawlies inside. However, the place is super clean and tidy and I guess it just comes with the location in the hinterland.

Everything - it feels like home. It is a super, lovely, cozy place equipped with everything you need. Super clean and tidy. It has a big bathtub and shower and a massive bed. Location is great close by maleny, and only 30 mins to mooloolaba. Hosts are very welcoming and respond quickly. We spend our honeymoon weekend there and I can see ourselves coming back again.

This house exceeded all our expectations. Could not have been any better.

This house was phenomenal in every way. The bathroom was set up like a hotel, everything provided for. The house clean and spotless, romantic and cosy, with an incredible view. Margaret and Phillip were incredibly thoughtful, with breakfast provided, a large collection of DVDS and blu rays, and plenty of firewood for our stay. They even checked in halfway through the stay to see if we needed more firewood. All in all, this is the best BnB we have ever stayed in. We slept like logs, the vibe was so peaceful. Would recommend to everyone. We are already keen to return in future.

Was not as close to the main town as I thought but that was my fault for not checking. But most restaurants have a courtesy bus so this was not really too much of an issue

The house was lovely and the fireplace was so nice to have. The view was beautiful and felt very private. I would definitely stay there again, it was a home away from home and the owners were very happy to go out of their way to make our stay a comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

Our experience from the first communication to stepping through the doors exceeded our expectations! Margaret is an exceptional woman as is the beautiful cottage. We stayed their for my partners birthday and loved every minute of it. It was peaceful, romantic, relaxing and felt like home. We loved it so much we booked our next stay there before we even left. The location, the little touches, the breakfast, everything about this place was amazing. Margaret is amazing and so easy to contact and replies straight away. Cottage is right next door to host's home with front doors close together and their balcony overlooks cottage's garden space. Unfortunately, on the one full day of our stay there was a planned electricity outage in the area which meant we had no power from 8am to 3pm. The host did give us 6 days notice that this was possible but we chose not to cancel because it would have been hard to find good alternative accommodation in that time and it wasn't certain the outage would happen. In the end the host did give us a small refund for the inconvenience but only because we requested it.

Spacious rooms with lovely outlook from lounge over garden and distant valley. Very comfortable furnishings and well appointed kitchen. Welcome bottle of champagne in fridge and generous selection of other food items. Easy access from car to rooms.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Avenue, it was the most beautiful and well-kept cottage with wonderful facilities. We experienced such exceptional service from the lovely owners and would 100% recommend this to all others!!

We ABSOLUTELY loved the cottage the owners provided everything you need and much more. So appreciated the extra personal touches lovely breakfast, candles and warm and cozy with beautuful fireplace. We loved enjoying coupla drinks whilst stargazing out the back sitting on provided comfortable chairs with AWESOME view. The bed was really like sleeping on a cloud. Cant say enough so so recommend and will definitely be back!!!!!
