Amazing hosts, very communicative, drove to the next town to contact me as storms had knocked out the internet before we arrived. Very generous breakfast hamper, which was even restocked halfway through trip. Beautiful place, gorgeous views…amazing!!

Being in the Aussie bush, inevitably there were some insects. Remember to close the mosquito netting. Dave and Melany were also very kind to provide a bug zapper that we could place outside the unit.

The studio was perfect. All furnishing and appliances were of high quality. We particularly liked the gas stove and dishwasher as we cooked quite a bit, as well as the bed which was so comfortable. Views were stunning and total peace and quiet. Dave and Melany were fantastic hosts and reminded us that they were always contactable if we needed anything. Also, the place is only a 10 min drive from a beautiful town called Bright.

The breakfast hamper was much more than expected, even catering for dietary requirements was an added bonus. Great communication from the owners and wonderful views. This is our second stay in 10 years.

Buckland Studios really exceeded our expectations. The interaction with the host was really good and the accommodation was well signed and easy to find. The studio we were in was very private, very clean and was located in one of THE most beautifully scenic valleys, it was just breathtaking. The pantry basket was very generous, we had everything that we needed for our weekend stay.

There was a cold draft coming through the double doors. We placed a dressing gown against it.

Understand that there is no WIFI, however movies option is very limited.

The place is nice, clean, quite, bed and pillows were very comfortable, fire place and breakfast ingredients were provided.

The floor in the bathroom was very slippery after the shower had been used. Just needed to be aware.

We loved the location & how peaceful it was there. We had every we needed to cook etc, the breakfast hamper was so good. Very comfortable bed & the bath was very relaxing! We loved our stay, will definitely be back!!

Loved the views as we enjoyed tea and we were lucky to have clear skies both nights, as we stargazed peacefully from the front yard. Could not finish all the goods that was offered in the breakfast basket. It was a wonderful gateway for us.

it was about 5 minutes away from Porpunkah and about 10-12 to Bright if you wanted to be around people but for us it was a chance to be away from the throngs and just enjoy all that The Buckland had to offer. amazing breakfast provisions and extras upon arrival when was replenished halfway through our stay.

Lovely location and awesome views. Bed was super comfortable and beautiful views to wake up to. Breakfast provided was amazing and location to town was very convenient.

There was nothing to dislike. Having a blind inside the toilet would have been helpful as it got super cold at night. Having a mirror outside the bathroom would have been nice too so 2 people can use mirrors at the same time.

The location was so beautiful and private. The entrance pathway had dreamy autumn colours all around. The home was cozy and small little details done by the owners like, fruit basket, array of jams and spreads, chocolates, heated towel rack etc made it special. The bbq facility and fireplace added a charm of its own.

Only thing that wasn't perfect was getting check in details when we'd nearly arrived and I'd forgotten it wasn't until 3 but they didn't seem to mind us moving in a little early so wasn't an issue.

The studio we stayed in was very quiet, private, with beautiful views and plenty of wild life nearby. It's a great spot to spend a few days to relax. Units are fully self contained and the breakfast hamper was excellent.

There was a great range of food made available, fresh bacon, eggs, yought, cereal, tea, coffee, milk. The overall facility was perfect, well presented, magical views all round. Highly recommend staying and visiting the area.
