We utilised the tennis facilties the weather wasnt the greatest to use the pool but we loved the environment, being away from the noise surrounded by trees and lake was a lovely escape from our busy life

The room service food was average. A cucumber salad was served on a hot pasta and was inedible. The pasta itself was unremarkable. The room service menu was limited and the service fee was excessive. The facilities are a little dated (my front sliding door was missing a lock). In particular, the shower cornices were rusted and cracked and this made them look dirty and old.

Loved the service and the staff - exceptional. I felt well looked after and that staff were approachable and professional. Elemes Spa was wonderful as well. Loved the movies on demand - this is now rare to find in hotels.

Wifi wasn't strong in private rooms, but at least there was one bar reception in some spots... Wifi was fine in the beautiful public areas though.

Beautiful resort, lovely ambience to the place. We really liked the extensive board walks, long and varied enough to make you feel like you've actually had a good walk, plus the beach if you wanted to walk further. Rooms were great, spotless, and private at the back overlooking nature. Friendly helpful staff. Fabulous nature outlook all through the resort. Just a lovely gentle place to be. We'll be back.

I was very disappointed in the food. The first 2 evenings dinner I was sick and never dared to eat there again. It was very inconvenient as we had to travel by taxi at night to find a restaurant when I would have preferred to stay at the hotel.

The accommodation was lovely but next time I would ask for an apartment on the lower level due to stairs.

The only thing we didn’t love was the on demand movie option was not working in our apartment. The staff were quick to respond but were not able to fix the problem until after our stay. They did offer to swap rooms but we had already unpacked so they gave us complimentary breakfasts which we were happy with.

It’s a very private rainforest hideaway which is beautifully maintained. It has such a relaxed and peaceful environment which we loved. The rooms were spacious and clean. Lovely rainforest views all around and felt private even though there were other apartments all around us. Staff were lovely, helpful and polite. The restaurant had delicious food and drink for every meal we had and the staff were very helpful and informative on menu options to suit the palette. Especially at night when we had our 28th wedding anniversary dinner there. Loved it and would definitely stay at Crystalbrook again in the near future.

There is little to no fault with Crystalbrook Byron, given the location and bedded into the Australian coastal bush land.

The engagement of the staff who are all friendly, knowledge and not too personnel, is a difficult balance and your hotel resort has this in abundance. The delicious local produce menu, the gardens and pool are all difficult to set expectations and all three are beautifully kept and managed.

location was excellent but room was very private. we were upgraded due to our anniversary and treated to complimentary sparkling at the restaurant. The food at the restaurant was incredible for dinner and breakfast. The room was perfect. The pool was amazing. Everything was perfect. wish we had stayed another night!
