Beautifully presented with a homely feeling Karen the host is so accommodating.. The house was clean and beds comfy.. Fantastic location close to everything.. The outdoor area with the gardens was extremely quiet, peaceful and relaxing plus quality inclusions. Exceptional value would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.. It's a real unique experience

The property is unusual, being a former church but has been interestingly and tastefully converted. The accommodation was well laid out and the decor and furnishings very individual which made it very interesting. Everything you could require was provided in terms of kitchen equipment and the do it yourself breakfasts are a thoughtful touch. one of the highlights was being met by the owner who took great pride in the property and gave us a detailed tour as well as providing useful local information. All in all a very comfortable stay with everything we needed.

Everything was great at this unique property! Karen was an exceptional host who helped me with top wineries to visit and supplied GF bread and lactose-free for breakfast which was so thoughtful! Highly recommend this Church!

Conveniently located, very well appointed home with comfort and character. Absolutely delightful hostess, Karen took great care of in welcoming us to her home.

It was a church, so very high ceiling and difficult to heat. There is a wood burning stove, but having had no previous experience of lighting one, we didn’t try. Also, my husband has asthma & smoke is really bad for that. There was a radiant heater, but that didn’t seem to make much difference. Luckily, the weather was really warm, so we sat outside until it was dark. It’s on a busy road, so a bit noisy.

Beautiful home, very tastefully furnished. The breakfast supplies were excellent. The garden was lovely and we enjoyed sitting out there.

We like to walk every morning before breakfast and found the main road location a little daunting.

The property was very well equipped and we had everything we needed for our stay. Karen was wonderful to deal with from the get go. Having downstairs and upstairs bedrooms was perfect for our party of 3. The garden areas were lovely and perfect for outside eating in warmer weather.

Loved the split level which gave space for the family to have a breather from each other. The design of the church was breath taking and the customer service was exceptional.

It was a brilliant place to stay for a short weekend getaway . Such a treat to stay somewhere with a little bit of charm and history . The fire was the highlight being all cozy and warm , relaxed and content . Sometimes just what you need to unwind. Would stay again .
