I recently had a wonderful experience at a friendly and welcoming hotel. A few days ago, I lost my phone on a bus, and I was feeling incredibly stressed. With only two days left in Sydney before my departure, I found myself in a difficult situation. However, the silver lining in this story came when I confided in Katy, a member of the hotel reception team. She took it upon herself to assist me, making numerous calls to the transportation authorities in Sydney. After a few minutes, she located my phone at one of the lost property stations. It was a tremendous relief for me, and I am deeply grateful for her support.

The unfortunately was a full street black out for a few hours when we stayed so no power apart from the emergency lights. Also there was no hot water in the morning to shower.

We stayed on a Thursday night it was quiet and comfortable the hotel does warn you that the wk end can get loud and understandably so .

We were there for 4 nights and there was a notice saying that the room would be cleaned after 3 days which it wasn't. Otherwise the stay was great!

We had an awesome stay at Clovelly Hotel. The staff were wonderful and we were made to feel at home immediately. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was close to the coastal path leading to Bondi Beach and there is a great coffee and breakfast spot down the road.

There was no problem at all.

Nice beachfront style decoration, nice room with comfortable bed and quiet environment to sleep well. Room size was Ok. Few minutes walk down to the Clovelly beach. Ideal if you're doing the Bondi to Coogee Coastal walk. Nice big restaurant and bar under the hotel, with no noise to the rooms. 2 min. walk to public bus stop to Sydney city center, bus takes around 30 minutes. I recommend this hotel.

There is noise downstairs during the day. But to be fair, they do let us know this in the hotel description AND things die down really quickly by late eve when we are ready for bed. So this didn’t bother me too much at all.

Clovelly hotel has amazing modern rooms with cute beach themed decor! The were very clean and the bed super comfy. The staff was also friendly and helpful.

The property was styled nicely and in a great location. They had a restaurant/bar downstairs which was super convenient. It wasn’t that noisy either, other reviews had me concerned but we had no issues with the noise. For us, it was very quiet. The room was cosy and the bathroom was a great size with a good shower. We felt very comfortable. The staff were very helpful, offering to carry our luggage and even giving us a late checkout on a last minute request.

EVERYTHING! Katie and her team are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are new, bright and super clean. The beds are super comfortable as well. The location was amazing for a perfect seaside getaway.

Lovely beach hotel close to the beach and shops. Spacious rooms and very relaxing feel. Even though the pub stays open til 12, you can’t hear the noise too much from the rooms as well insulated
