The views were absolutely amazing. At night we saw little penguins, pademelons and brushtail possums very close to our bedroom.

The smaller accommodation/hut did not have their own bathroom/toilet facility.. However, it was a short walk to the main facility. It definitely was not a deal breaker.

First, the staff was warm and welcoming. The view of the Bass Strait was exceptional and priceless. The room was very clean and homely, with a direct view of the ocean. I had two penguins walk past my hut, and wallabies hopped up the bank for a feed. It truly was a romantic getaway. I highly recommend it, even as a solo traveller such as I was. The highlight was the fire pit overlooking the ocean, and I was lucky to have a clear night and view of the milkyway from my own deck. For those that are searching for peace and tranquillity this is a place to stay. As someone who has recently separated from the ADF, the location allowed me to truly reflect and heal.

The staff need to be sure that they tell everyone not to shine white lights on the Penguins as a couple of people did not realize. I think these things have to be spelt out as people often don't listen! Breakfast was a little bit expensive .

Absolutely stunning. What a gorgeous place! I wish I had booked longer. I had one of the Glamping units overlooking the sea. No toilet but the price to pay for the perfect position! Absolutely gorgeous and you could hear the sound of the waves at night. That is, obviously if you weren't foolish enough to put on your air-conditioning! I saw the penguins come out of the sea and waddle up the hill. Make sure you have the red torch and do not do not do not shine the white torch on them as it disorientates them. I stayed until 11 at night watching them as I was so mesmerized. What a fabulous amazing place this is. Book at least two nights .

Fantastic location. Excellent set up with communal areas. Everything was thought of. Felt like a five star hotel in many ways. Would have loved to have stayed longer!

Wifi connection is not great do it is difficult to work from here, however it is intended as a retreat, not a work space.

Magnificent ocean views, fresh air& comfortable cabins with friendly helpful staff. Communal kitchen facilities and yoga room are excellent also. Roaming the fields in the evening and seeing wildlife and penguins and added treat.

Instant coffee sachets in the room, would have been better if there was a coffee machine. Soap bottles in the shower didn't work that well.

Friendly and helpful staff, fantastic location, clean and comfortable, great facilities. Falling asleep with the sound of crashing waves in the background is one of the best features of The Cove.

The scenery is absolutely stunning, relaxing and serene. The villa is spacious, spotless and luxurious. The included hamper of food was very generous. My fiance and I had a very special and memorable time. We also walked to the beach to watch the fairy penguins come in and waddle up the hill. The Cove is a very special place.

Having to leave.

The most amazing location. Great views, spectacular spacious common area design, well-equipped first-class facility. The friendliest staff. Wildlife is everywhere, domesticated and native. We walked down to the foreshore to watch the Little Blue penguins come ashore; peacocks, paddymelons, possums, and rabbits wandered the grounds. The massive shared kitchen was a great place to meet people. We stayed at some of the best Hotels in Tassie during our trip, but this is the place we will remember most fondly.

Beautiful place. We stayed here with ocean view and liked our stay there, so we decided to stay at Villa for another night. It was worth coming to see how amazing Villa was. We also joined Farm Tour with Jess and had good experience with farm animals. The owner Kim was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations in the local areas. We’ll be back for sure when we come back to Tasmania.
