Room was a bit small but big enough and you get what you pay for.

The staff were lovely, bed and pillows very comfy and room super warm and the shower was hot.

There was a hole in the wall that had been roughly patched up, the blind was broken, and there were two hooks behind the door for clothes and towels - there needed to be more. There was no power board to plug in the electric blanket, I asked the staff for one (which they provided immediately). The room was smaller than we expected and there were no tea or coffee provisions.

The facilities for my morning cup of tea was a kettle down the hall with nothing else.

Unfortunately party goers made a lot of noise around 3am on the Friday night, so had a broken sleep. Previous night had a great sleep.

One of the two toilets had a broken cistern, so could not flush. The other toilet that worked ran out of toilet paper.

Bed was firm but soft. King was super spacious.

The bathroom could have been cleaned better , l didn’t shower as it grossed me out, the rod looked like it had never been cleaned as well as the bathtub you stand in had marks that would have come out if cleaned properly, the bit that the water drains in looked like it had never been scrubbed, even though the bathroom is old if scrubbed properly with the right cleaning products it could sparkle. The blind in the bath room needs replacing. Pillow were not hotel standard pillows, too soft the were those cheap Kmart ones with hardly any filling I ended up with a sore neck. The rest of the suite was good.

Location was great, the balcony was great, the suite was big and comfortable, didn’t eat there because of Covid there was shortage of staff which was fair enough, and it was closed so we didn’t have any interaction with staff of hotel or restaurant to comment.

For the money it was a little disappointing. No TV. Tea and coffee facilities weren’t in the room but in a shared area. Shared bathroom only has one shower.

The toilet leaking onto the floor was quite disgusting. The rooms need to be renovated and not particularly comfortable due to the run down feel. It would be a great back packer accommodation rather than a family accommodation.

No doonas or blankets on the beds, only light throws were provided which gave no real warmth. Rosi the hostess was lovely, and very informative. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Farmer’s Arms bar as downstairs was closed. Wednesday evening very quiet in town.

A lovely apartment clean and spacious but we were cold at night as the heaters provided did not heat the room adequately…even though we had them on all the time. We dragged the bathroom heater in as well.I had to go out to the car in the middle of the night and get two blankets we luckily had in the car, and only then were we warm enough.
