The windows were old and they rattled because of the wind. Also they didn’t have our room available so they gave us another one because booking.com wasn’t on their system.

No parking on site. Room is very tired. Bathroom very dated, the sliding door to the ensuite was very difficult to open. Budget towels, single ply toilet paper. Shower screen wouldn’t stay closed. Beds are very old.

I guess it was a little noisy on the top mountain view rooms as other buildings had roof mounted generators (and my room was higher than these roofs!) so these hummed all night. Nothing a set of ear plugs didn't sort out! And not really the fault of the hotel.

Balcony with the mountain view (although I booked this) and a nice heater in the room as it was a pretty cold weekend. Lovely cosy dressing gowns. Milk in the fridge, biscuits, tea, coffee. Nice clean room and overall a lovely bed. Free breakfast was also wonderful, I didn't have to search out an open place outside and it was nice to just get up and go down. A good selection of cold meats/fish and sweet treats. Also cereals and toast selection. Friendly staff. Checkin was easy and I was given clear instructions on where I could try to park the car. Maps were handed over for parking and all the summer hikes. Loved the easter eggs provided with breakfast on easter morning, nice touch.

Views limited from room Room very small and barely adequate No vehicle parking, nearest public parking a 15min walk away other much further and cost $34 for 2 nights. Does not justify 4 star rating.

the bed was very aged and after 2 nights both our lower backs were aching from the seriously sagging mattress. there is very visible dry rot in the windows and the balcony doors. The handle to the balcony door is about to fall off and the door jamms every time its opened or closed. the shower was starting to show signs of mould. i chose this hotel for the price but more so as we could get a continental/English breakfast but were then only offered muesli and fruit for breakfast and was told to venture to the bakery. Not all the channels are available on the TV. The photos in the ad shows only skin deep. we thought queen deluxe was better than what we got

the food in the restaurant was just lovely. Homemade muesli was very nice and we liked the fruit and yogurt. Loved the water pressure in the shower

We loved our stay at the Denman, our room {206) was clean and comfortable and had a view of the mountains and chairlift Location is great. Breakfast was an unexpected bonus and was fresh and delicious. All staff were helpful, friendly and very professional. Dinner at the restaurant was wonderful. Would stay again and recommend the Denman to others

Tv was no use as it was in a place where cannot be seen. Wifi was too slow or didn’t work at all most of the time. Room is too small.
