From check in to departure the staff at The Franklin were exceptional, they were welcoming, efficient and knowledgeable. The garden bar has a great atmosphere and the private balcony for hotel guests is a nice addition. The hotel itself is conveniently located on the edge of the CBD in walking distance to the entertainment precinct or a short Uber drive to all of the local attractions.

Very cool place to stay. Super friendly staff, and great that we could check in early after our early morning flight. Great location, close to the markets. Bonus mini bar! We stayed 2 nights, had lunch and dinner there on our first day, hot dogs are incredible and without a doubt the best pub dinner I've ever had.

Location convenient to walk to everything in Adelaide and central market for breakfast! Hotel is so well set up and beautifully decorated. This is my third stay and will keep re booking!

There isn't exactly a check-in desk. So check-in is at the bar downstairs. Was also a little noisy on a Saturday night stay so if you want a place quieter, not quite sure I could recommend.

My room was incredibly spacious! I had a queen bed, a smart TV, couch, desk, and an attached bathroom. They also included a little goodie bag with a mini bar inside the fridge - completely complimentary! The staff was welcoming, accommodating, and answered any questions I had prior to arrival in a prompt manner. Would definitely stay again!

Shower water spread over a lot of the tiled bathroom floor. We would have been happy to squeegee this up, but no squeegee available to do so. The floor could have been slippery if we hadn't used a towel.

A very comfortable stay with stylish rooms, and wonderful food - don't forget to eat here! Close to town on a street which isn't too busy.

We were upgraded to the superior room, purely because it was free and they would rather someone get to use it than not. The staff were so friendly, on arrival you get shown to your room and assistance with your bags if needed. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious with a lovely big comfortable bed. The bar fridge is stocked with complimentary beer, cider and soft drinks and a cute little goody bag with some snacks. To top it off, they provide Evo brand shampoo, conditioner, hand/body wash and moisturiser which is a lovely little luxury in comparison to the cheap stuff you usually get. There is a Bar and Restaurant downstairs and you are able to take anything up to your room, food and cocktails were amazing.

There was nothing to dislike

The room was well equipped with complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and water. The bathroom had all the necessary toiletries and lovely towels. The whole place was very clean and well kept. The location was ideal for coach tours, city buses and walks around the city. Wifi was always available.

Great room- loved the decor & the style. Great location for where we needed to be. We loved the balcony. Ideally positioned about a great little bar that has a nice beer garden, food & drinks. Staff were excellent. We were given a free minibar that was restocked, a welcome bag & our room was cleaned daily.

The shower was a bit weird, there were no door, so we had to put towel in the floor to avoid the water from going everywhere in the toilet.

The decoration of the hotel looks really beautiful. The room looks good too and very artistic. The tv was big and we enjoyed our welcome goodie bag and the drinks in the fridge. We can store our luggage before check in.

The bed was really hard - I ended up with a sore back after three nights sleeping on it. Also, it was two king single mattresses pushed together and it was annoying to lie over the join.

I loved the look of the room - very aesthetically pleasing and super clean. The Smart TV was great and having a coffee maker was lovely. The bar fridge stocked with free drinks and snacks was an unexpected bonus! Staff were very friendly and helpful.
