A bit noisy in am on the Road side of building

The Franklin was a great place to stay central to where i needed to be Clean comfortable rooms with great little touches They also up graded my room which i thought was awesome the room had a bath so big you could do laps in it lol The staff where friendly helpful and attentive

Having to take luggage up the stairs, no lift, but staff more than happy to help and move luggage for you, even if you are leaving early, so not really a problem, just a matter of telling them you will need help.

Bathroom large and clean, good towels. Room size was good, tea and coffee facilities etc. were good, bag of goodies which nice touch, television good and big, staff very friendly and helpful, always checking everything was ok, Chicken Salad for dinner in dining room absolutely excellent.

The only thing was that the hotel doesn’t open until 11am, which made it difficult for storing luggage when we arrived early in the first day but the staff were great and helped us out.

Being across from the bus terminal it was a little noisy but it didn’t detract too much from the enjoyment of staying there. Shower head didn’t work well, maybe need replacing.

Charming Aussie pub in the heart of Adelaide. Small but fun room design. Great front bar with quality food. Free mini bar and snacks in room wow. Staff were brilliant really attentive and friendly.

Good location, the pub downstairs served excellent food and when we were in our room we really couldn't hear the pub at all. The staff were helpful and friendly. I loved the fact they had a little book swap area as well - leave a book, take a book.

Stairs up to room might be a challenge for older people but I managed ok!

The hotel is charming and olde worldy ...but looks to be popular with younger people. Pleasant staff showed me to my room, which was boutique styled, explaining the coffee machine and fridge contents were complementary. Nice touch... Tried a couple of drinks, and bottled water for hot drink was handy. Also had a goody bag of snacks which was a nice surprise. I didn't eat there as was going to footy but looked to have a good choice of food. Very handy to transport to get to Adelaide Oval, on bus/tram ( could walk, but a bit far at night) and theres a free tram to shopping in the mall. Opposite Adelaide bus terminal which was handy for me, being from the country. Pleasant stay.

There is a quite long staircase which is a nuisance when taking luggage upstairs but assistance is available to take heavy luggage up or down which is great. No drawers or cupboard in the bedroom for storing clothing.

The hotel could be better described as a pub with rooms (just 6 in total). Room 5 is a bit on the small side but as a solo traveller, absolutely fine and the bathroom was enormous. The pub downstairs had an excellent selection of drinks and a varied food menu. The hotel is directly opposite Adelaide bus station which was one of my reasons for choosing it.

Room was small so required organisation to manage luggage etc.

Great design led pub. Cool to stay in classic Aussie style with a twist. Lovely bathroom. Nice balcony. Enjoyed meal downstairs. We were made very welcome and appreciated the complimentary drinks . Well organised. Helpful staff.

There was construction work near by which started early around 6am and was very noisy

The room was very spacious. Although it was a weekend the noise from the bar downstairs did not interrupt our sleep.The balcony was a great spaceto spend soe time on in the afternoon.

Spacious room with some great touches, like the little goody bag, free stocked fridge, and Nespresso machine. Bed was super comfortable. Enjoyed being able to hang out in the bar downstairs, and would have enjoyed the garden more if it hadn't have been so hot!

I loved everything about it.

Really stylish, super-friendly staff and the biggest bath I have ever seen. Some really thoughtful little touches like a well-stocked complimentary mini bar and welcome candies.

Check in at the „Counter“ really lovely. We liked it. Not many rooms, so private atmosphere.
