Beautiful decorated, cosy, stunning artwork, well equipped kitchen. Celebrated friend’s 70th birthday. The pinball machine was super fun and bought out the competitive spirit in all.

I loathe pin ball machines! also the lack of parking space within the grounds of the property. The shower is showing signs of aging with slight mould showing around the floor to wall surfaces.

Location was excellent, I would have preferred to be able to park within the property, not out on the street but it is a quiet street so it didn't matter too much. I loved the old world charm and the historic sense that early Bowral people had lived there. I liked the fact that it was close to town yet not too close and that the heaters kept the place warm and we felt comfortable and dry as it was raining. We found a good cafe for lunch and the fact there was tea and coffee was appreciated when we arrived.

The location. It was a little out of town. But we had a car, so it didn't really matter.

It was a beautiful, well maintained home. Great set up and everything was clean. Dog friendly. And the board games were a bonus

My family and I were all super impressed at how clean, cosy and well-equipped The Gables was. It was much more spacious than I thought and I was a lil worried that the daybed in the sunroom might not be big enough to sleep my tall brother but it was a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures. Rob was a fabulous host. Responsive, quick and so so friendly, I felt so comfortable chatting to him about anything and everything. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Bowral.

Unannounced lack of TV, absolutely no Wi-Fi signal or connection on only one offered channel. I have screenshots to prove it: 4 mobitels, different brands with different providers, but no internet connection in a house, even with WiFi details provided. City of Bowral does not work well with any other mobile provider but Telstra, so if you need TV or the internet to entertain youngsters, go elsewhere

Beautiful old property featuring antiques and artworks. Excellent bathroom and luxurious beds. This property is like taking a step back in time. Those into nostalgia will love it. The fully working pinball machine is a bonus. Well located in a lovely part if Bowral.

Both large bedrooms (front of the house) had lovely windows, but unfortunately these could not be opened (painted shut?). That added to the rain and humidity of late, resulted in the rooms smelling musty. That can easily be fixed by a few dehumidifies placed in the closed-windows rooms.

House have great character. Loved that! The beds were very comfortable, bathroom big and the water had lots of pressure. Access to the property was very easy. The location was very convenient for our needs. We had a 50th birthday weekend so we did not stay in the house very much but enjoyed 1 relaxing afternoon playing board games and reading books. Rob, our host, was very nice and easy to reach. Everything was as per the photos.

The house was spacious and was full of character and lovely art It was in a great location, an easy walk into bowral. The beds were comfortable and and cosy. It was great to have lovely bread, tea and coffee available. We would love to stay again when we visit Bowral again
