Beautiful cottage nested inside the forest. Fire place and heat pump kept the place warm. Daily freshly baked bread was delivered every morning. Big spa tub, smart TV. The host Rhonda was very helpful and got us tickets to KaBloom Flower Festival. The cottage is close to Cloudehill Garden, RJ Hanmer Arboretum and Botanical Garden.

A queen or king sized bed (currently a double only) would make an otherwise excellent place totally comfortable.

The peace and tranquility! Every window had a different scene. The window bench seats were great for lazing on and truly relaxing. If you want to feel like you are in the bush then this is your place. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of varied from cereals to bacon and eggs, smoked salmon... The quirky "gallery"chairs were different but very comfortable. Huge and comfortable leather couch.

My partner and I stayed at The Gallery over a long weekend. We were completely blown away by how perfect this little slice of paradise is! The Gallery has all the amenities one would expect, but it was the finer details that made our stay so much more enjoyable. We arrived to some ambient music in the background and the whole house smelled incredible! There is an assortment of art and sculptures in the house, and surrounding gardens - complete with an easel, we were encouraged to create some of our own art for the owners (my stick figures were sure to impress) We awoke in the morning to the chirping of birds and the smell of freshly baked bread. Our hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us, they even baked an extra loaf of gluten-free bread for my partner (I had some of this as well as the regular bread - 5 stars!) As this was our first time in the area, our hosts recommended a number of places to visit during our stay. We especially enjoyed the Olinda Tea House, a 2-minute drive down the road, and then using our included guest pass to gain free entry into the spectacular Cloudehill Gardens just across the road. I wish I could roll back time so I could re-live this weekend over and over again. We had such a magnificent stay at The Gallery, i do not doubt that we will be back again soon!

Everything was as Rhonda and Mark had advertised. We loved everything about the whole place and ambience. I loved how they had beauitful latin music playing for our arrival. Arriving late at night was so soothing.

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay other than for us we are used to a king size bed and would have liked a little more space. In saying this, would this affect a future stay ? absolutely not. We look forward to another relaxing stay there again.

The location, the accommodation, the breakfast ( beautiful freshly baked sourdough bread), the service were all perfect. I would highly recommend staying there as I cannot fault anything about the property. Owners thoughtful and accommodating attending to all our needs and enquiries.

The Gallery is in a beautiful location in the Dandenong ranges. In spring there are abundant flowers on view from every window. The home has many windows for you to enjoy the wonderful birdlife. Inside, the facility has many comfortable seating areas, and a very comfortable bed. There are excellent artworks in display and books about the region. Full breakfast options are provided including fresh bread delivered in the morning. The spa bath is a lovely option too.

The couch is not the most comfortable one we have used. Perhaps it is time for a change.

It is very spacious yet at the same time cosy with an effective gas log heater. The property is ideally located being close enough to shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs but is very private and secluded. The unobtrusive hosts provide clear and timely information. Breakfast provisions are healthy and enjoyable. The freshly made cob loaf each morning is a real treat.

A beautiful property with generous hosts. They made roasted chestnuts (delicious, never had before) and brought us some. Extremely well appointed, luxurious and basically perfect. We can’t wait to return for my birthday; I hope to see another king parrot.

Having to leave.

This large studio is beautifully decorated, stylish, serene and set in a beautiful garden. It has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Hot bread was served every morning to go with a fridge full of breakfast foods. A beautiful spa bath adds to the feeling of luxury. We visited Healesville Sanctuary, Puffing Billy and a number of gardens and the accommodation was close to them all.

Very cosy accommodation in a lovely garden setting. The perfect setting for a quiet getaway. Unobtrusive hosts who provided everything we needed. The fresh home cooked bread each day was a treat.

I’m not sure I can mention anything but the obvious we wish we could stay longer.

I had high expectations but I can honestly say they were blown away when my wife and I walked into the cottage at the end of a hectic day. It was clean, stylish and just so relaxing. Brazilian jazz in the background, a warm cozy gas fire and the promise of freshly baked bread delivered first thing in morning. To top it off the owners have made the environmental footprint a first class citizen from the choice building materials, energy efficient features and solar power to the choice of natural (and local) soaps and shampoos (without all the packaging).

A beautiful getaway. The Gallery B&B exceeded all expectations (which were already high) and was absolutely magical. The breakfast provided was amazing and the space itself felt like a home away from home and being surrounded by nature was absolutely serene. Highly recommend :)
