Down near the river there are some mozzies but you'd expect that. I brought Aerogard so it wasn't a problem.

Was struck by the beauty of the relaxed setting by the riverbank. Ron walked up to greet me and we had a friendly conversation, he's been there 15 years, I could see why - it's incredibly beautiful. The room is well designed and had everything I could need. Liked the little treats with a small bottle of wine with greeting card welcoming me plus having things like milk, tea & coffee and even a yummy breakfast cereal. The place felt luxurious and comfortable. Ron has written a book which I received a free copy, it's a good read.

The Glades was the perfect place to stay while catching up relatives in Urunga. Loved the the welcome gift which made a great start to our stay. Would highly recomend.

If you are over six feet, there is a low beam that is easy to hit your head on.

Amazing view, quiet, comfortable location. The room and bathroom were spotless. The hosts were respectfully friendly and helpful. It had all the amenities I needed and more.

Communication with the hosts was excellent - friendly and prompt, with clear and detailed directions. The apartment was absolutely delightful: comfortable, spacious, very tastefully furnished and 110% functional. Spotlessly clean and meticulously prepared. Everything worked, from the light bulbs to the washing machine! The outlook to the garden and the river was so peaceful and private. Although the hosts live upstairs, our paths didn't cross and I felt I had total privacy to relax on the patio and inside. I appreciated that the apartment was up and away from the busy part of Urunga. I enjoyed running and walking through the nearby Urunga Wetlands and down to the lido and the boardwalk. A short drive to Urunga's main beach, which was unbelievably uncrowded, even on weekends in January. I will definitely be back!

Private spacious apartment with a comfy bed and a good shower. additionally it has a great view and everything as described. We could park our bicycle safely out of view on the terrasse. Everything was nice and clean and there was even some Christmas Decoration. We felt just like at home.

Lovely unit off the beaten track in Urunga but close to the main highway making it a perfect stop, especially since I could park right outside the door. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully designed and arranged. Everything was thought of and really appreciated the small details. Having breakfast looking down to the garden and river was a wonderful way to start the day. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay.

This place is a hidden gem! The garden is spectacular and so peaceful. We enjoyed a picnic by the river and saw a dolphin up-close as it swam by us. The room is beautiful and full of lovely details such as books, games and complementary snacks and drinks. The boardwalk through the wetlands is just next door, and it is a lovely way to start the day. Really recommend a visit if you are in the area.
