This is a real little gem of a place to have a relaxing get away. Perfect location, beautiful furnishings and a lovely hostess. We will be back.

We were disturbed by the other customers in other rooms but to be fair any noise in our rooms probably did the same.

Everything here is fantastic. The bespoke charm doesn't just stop with the architecture.

Really enjoyed the large clawfoot bath in the room and the lovely view from the balcony. The house had a nice feel and everyone was very friendly, including the chickens.

The house. We lived on the upper floor and it creaked all the time especially in the night. I have toddlers and the in-house balcony railings are too wide so its dangerous for kids. They might slip and fall. The house creaks were loud!

I loved the property. It was very classy and had a pretty balcony looking accross the ocean that I took advantage of.

Fantastic service. Shareen was very friendly. Home away from home. Breakfast touches were fantastic. Great location. Cosy. Quiet. Hot tub is an absolute bonus! Very hospitable. Flexible. Not a single bad word to say about this place. Highly recommend.

Sheree was a lovely host and very orientated in making sure your stay is comfortable. The views from my room (upstairs queen suite) were unreal looking out at the ocean for a good panoramic stretch. Photos just don't do it justice. The outside of the B&B reminds me of a cuckoo house clock. Very picturesque.

There was nothing not to like.

A fabulous place - beyond quirky! - with stunning ocean views from the upstairs rooms. We stayed in the double with spa bath and had the entire top floor to ourselves. A magic place to stay, one night was not enough! We'd really like to return and spend more time there.

The heating was on which was a lovely welcome as it was cold outside; inside our room was quirky but tastefully decorated and clean - bed comfortable. Our room rate included breakfast: OJ, muesli, yoghurt, toast and condiments perfect way to start the day.

I missed the driveway and had to turn around in a tight spot. Go slowly when close as the entrance is not obvious if you are tired or it is dark (I also missed missed receiving a message with further arrival details due to issues with my phone so that didn't help).

This is a unique bed and breakfast. Built with salvaged materials, it is more like a friend's cottage than a motel. The view from the balcony of the stars at night and the birds in the morning was great. My electric blanket made it hard to leave the bed in the morning. Everything was laid out in our room for breakfast (mini fridge with milk, juice and yougurt, bread for toaster and a kettle for tea and coffee-there was enough food and variety for my hungry sons). We had the family room which worked well for us (the whole upper floor) including a large dining table. Although not walking distance to any restaurants or shops, we brought takeaway from town. The family room is open to the downstairs common room which could be an issue if your family is noisy or the other guests are loud.
