One apartment was not clean and old. The beds were very uncomfortable. The other apartment was amazing!

No plug points and light switch in the second bedroom. Light switch outside the bedroom at the front door. Drain covering in the bathroom missing in the middle of the bathroom floor leaving an open drain hole and creating a trip hazard.

One key only is extremely difficult. Someone is always taking others downstairs otherwise you’re trapped upstairs.

The complex was fantastic. The view amazing 👏 🤩 the closeness of the restaurant great.

The penthouse was lacking in routine maintenance and general upkeep. It had the bare minimum needed for a pass. The taps weren’t screwed on properly, the gate latch was half falling off, there was next to no (or very poor) lighting making it near impossible to utilise some of the areas, the terrace for example was no good for evening meals as we would’ve needed a spotlight. Simple fix. The bathrooms were very dark too, while the lounge area also has minimal lighting. One of the beds was snapped in half. It had been fixed with a metal bar but was still an eyesore for the amount you pay. The carpets were very worn and the walls were damaged and dirty looking. The mechanism to open the door to get in was broken and some area were also dirty and dusty. The knobs on the bbq were also broken meaning only 2 of the 4 burners could be used. The showers had no shelving for toiletries meaning if was difficult for older guests to get down to all their things while showering. Also the knives were crap and barely cut anything.

The location was amazing and the views to die for.

We love staying at The Grand. The staff are lovely, the place is spotless, pool is beautiful and clean, great location and Kokonut Willie’s restaurant is delicious. Looking forward to our next visits to The Grand.

Due to the heat, we had the Aircon running quite a lot and it dripped all over the TV and our laptops and phones that were stored in the TV stand

The location, the view from the 13th floor, and the pool were fabulous! Reception staff was very helpful all times!

There was another car parked in my allocated secure park, staff were unwilling to help and i was told id have to park on the street

Not a great view over the pool gazebo thing. I upgraded thinking my view would be better. I have stayed in less expensive rooms there with unobstructed views. Also the spa wasn't working.

The smell of cigarette was very over powering On the balcony , in the under ground car park and elevators.

The location and view was amazing. Pool and Pool area beautifully kept Room was very comfortable and accommodating for our family. Little Hick up due to short staff on arrival. But swiftly sorted by reception staff

Little disappointed by the room. Stayed at the grand previous year and were very impressed by the standard room we had. This time we went for the superior room and felt let down. Room was on a lower level still a great view though just disappointed as we paid more for superior thinking we would get better. Divider between main bedroom and lounge room had a sign on one side not to touch the doors preventing the room to be closed off or viewing of tv to be seen from the bed. The air conditioner boxes out on the balcony made it extremely hot to be out there to enjoy the view while we ate. Just disappointed with what is called superior when the standard room we had the year before was in my opinion a lot better.

Area is very noisy at night.

Excellent views and easy to travel from, great well equipped rooms, excellent pool, good parking. Very good restaurant and Caffe on site.

Sadly, for the first time in many stays we had issues. Room 411 was rather tired. Some maintenance needed - curtains in bedroom needed proper hanging, door stop broken on bedroom door, door handle broken on bathroom door. I was not happy sitting on the sofa - it made a dreadful noise and thought it might break - perhaps owners should visit. First time we haven't been extremely pleased with our room.

As usual facilities excellent - great spot, friendly staff, very good dining.

Not much at all, the dishwasher was a little damaged but worked.

Great location, walking distance to grocery and restaurants. Coffee shop open early across the road. Walking track right across the road goes along the esplanade for kms. Easy access to theme parks - 15 minute drive.
