Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Nice big room on three levels with high ceilings, very comfortable seating and bed. A nice touch was a hand written card welcoming us to the hotel and some Lindt chocolates left in our room. Enjoyed the pool and spa. The location was close to most things we wanted to do and see.

Centrally located, close to tram and train stations. Staff are amazing! Lindt chocolates with hand written welcome card are a beautiful touch. Fully equipped kitchen, espresso machines, dishwasher, great for long stays. We stayed 5 nights here during the Grand Prix, short walk to Spencer street station to catch the tram, perfect!

The short distance to Southbank, the double glazing windows and doors to the balcony, the wonderful greeting each time we entered the building. Lindt Chocolates and a handwritten card from Dennis always makes me feel like an important individual. The wonderful history of the building and how it’s been maintained.

AustraliaThe curtains did not close. This was identified after the reception closed. When speaking to the gentleman at reception in the morning he was off handed stating that we should have called him as he is there overnight. There was nothing to indicate who to contact after hours. He took a nonchalant attitude that was almost rude, with a rather lack lustre response.
The staff that greeted us were amazing and friendly. The ambiance of the facility was lovey and the room was higher than our expectations.

AustraliaThe Grand needs some repair work especially the entrance way and the old Cafe facade which looks mildewy. The furnishings in my room needed updating. The table was stained and the chair fabric was pilled.
Staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the Southern Cross Railway station and public transport. The building is historical and you feel privileged stepping through the front door to be in such a magnificent structure.

Excellent staff and in a very convenient area for public transport and entertainment. Host was very pleasant and the venue was very clean. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.
