We didn’t get the door code till a while after we tried to contact owner after the salon girls helped us. It wasn’t a big deal but would’ve been, had they not been there.

Information on how to get in. The information was sent to my computer, which was at home. Should have been sent to my mobile phone. Lucky that girls were working in Hair Salon and helped me to get in. Parking information was obscure. Chair in first bedroom had a broken leg.

Very clean, cute apartment. It was nice to be staying in a bit of history as the building is quite old. The rooms had heaters or heated blankets which was a great touch! The balcony was really nice. Location was perfect, so close to everything including some amazing restaurants.

The host wasn't proactive in reaching out on or before the day of check-in to explain the process, which meant I had to initiate the request. Fortunately, the response was quick and the explanation was easy to follow. The most unfortunate thing was the missing towels (body, hand, bath mat, etc.). Given my check-in was late in the day, I reached out to the host quite late. While the response from the host was rather quick, no towels would be delivered until the next morning, at which point I would have already checked out. This must be the first incident ever that I had no towels in the accommodation (except for the one towel that I managed to find in the cupboard, or those properties that explicitly state that no towels are provided). Even though the above wasn't a big deal for me on this occasion, others need to be mindful of the potential risk with this property.

Great price for what was available at the time of my booking. Very spacious and central property. Also good for a stopover.

Facilities were not up to the mark. Shower was broken, major rework needed for doors, windows and other areas of the house. Privacy was also a concern as there was an access door into the house from the beauty saloon next door.

The double bed in the 2nd room was very uncomfortable, mattress sagged into middle, other mattresses were uncomfortable too in that room No blinds on windows. It was tricking gaining entry as the door had a chain as well as key code

Shower not working properly making it impossible to use, not remedied during our stay. Shame the off street parking was used by the hair salon downstairs so we had to park on the street.

There was a glitch in the booking I booked the place for 6pp (4 adults + 2 kids) and the booking only booked for 2 adults…. Despite of the place being for 7 I got charged $100 extra to fix the problem. And I have been told if I don’t well….they won’t make enough beds. Well…. So I paid and still not enough beds were made, one of the beds didn’t have a doona, I had to self serve, which I could have done without being charged extra $100. Note that the night for “2” was already $540 which is huge for 2pp in WARNANMBOOL we are not talking ShangriLa right ! Also the cleaning was very minimal imo (hair in bathroom for example and kitchen dusty) and the appartement location is quite noisy ! Also the fridge was open and not cold when we arrived. Many little things added up that make me think this was truely overpriced !!

Failed contact with owner for a number of days, therefore we have lost our money. Toilet was over flowing, not operational. Apartment wasn’t clean from previous occupants. Black hairs throughout the bathroom. Photos submitted to Booking.com to show uncleanliness. Security poor as easy access accessible through hairdressers below. We couldn’t stay, therefore travelled further to seek accommodation. Definitely would not recommend.
