room carpet. would be better to have timber floors.

accommodation is close to the hotel. Convenient for those who would want to dine out. The hotel staffs are very friendly. We have had a great time at the hotel restaurant.

Very noisy and inconsiderate guests in adjacent rooms can make it an uncomfortable stay if your expectations are set too high.

Convenient location, nice and clean, terrific pub with decent food and atmosphere.

Poor heating, was a frosty night but the panel heater on the wall only operated for a couple of hours then had to be started again, therefor got quite cold while we were sleeping.

the restaurant served good food. Location suited us.

Toaster & microwave in the room but no cutlery or crockery to use. Microwave didn't work. Couldn't heat or eat our food & the adjoining pub was shut so had to go to another pub down the road & pay for dinner.

Room was comfortable. Within walking distance to bakery. Harrietville is a charming little village.

The improvements to the room have made a stay at Snowline a top choice for Harrietville. And with the pub attached, it's a no brainer!

The light in the room took literally 10 minutes to come on after we flipped the switch. It is quite an old place that feels a bit dingey but I think it’s good value for what you pay.

Cute location in Harrietville. This place was good value if you want to visit Bright but want to stay somewhere a bit cheaper. Easy check-in process (there was none, just turn up and go to the room) Even though the restaurant is right across from the rooms there was no noise from there and it was easy to get to sleep.

I fully understand there has been a recent change of management which could account for many small issues, some of which were a nuisance for me but the next person could be pickier. Firstly, on checking in, I requested a toaster for my room (as I'm sure I had done in previous years) only to be told 'no cooking in rooms' included toast! and also that this was for safety reasons. There was no signage in the room about this and the usual room information folder was missing. TV remote and manual were also missing, when staff came to check they also mentioned another room missing a fan! Fridge was iced up leaving little accessible room in the freezer until I chipped some of the ice away. Soap dispenser was empty. What is needed here is a checklist for the cleaners when preparing the room for the next guest. The bistro menu has gone back to the blokey parma and burger dominated options, although I did have a good chicken salad one night. The other pub's menu was more appealing to me.

I go to the Harrietville music camp every January and this is my preferred motel of the 2 - better value and shady rooms (vital in January). I also like the large open wardrobe opposite the bathroom vanity which is effectively a dressing room at the back of the unit.

The food at snowline was terrible, they need to do something about their kitchen staff as they clearly do not have a skilled head chef. It was melbourne prices for some absolutely rubbish dishes. small portions . terribly presented and overcooked. It used to be good 3 years ago. would not stay or eat there again. They also bought out my friends food several mins before mine leaving me to watch him eat as I waited. Can they not read dockets and cook the dishes for the 1 table at the same time.

The room was reasonably clean but there were quite a few cobwebs everywhere. The rooms were quite old and they only had kettles provided. It was also a bit noisy, you can hear everyone outside as well as the pub music till late hours of the night but we weren’t too fussed.

The pub was fabulous! Great food and lovely staff as well. There is so much to do in and around the area. My husband and I went to the trout farm down the road as well as a berry farm where we got lots of fruit.

Good dinner & experience in the hotel; friendly, helpful staff, quite good food & excellent selection of local beers & wines. Fires would be awesome in winter.

The only things was the fridge in our room which was a bit dodgy - it froze all our fruit and veg, which then had to be mostly thrown away

Perfect location in beautiful Harrietville, basic but clean and comfortable rooms, great value for money even over the busy week between Christmas and New Years. A short drive to Bright. The pub was great with lovely food

Be prepared for no air con, especially during the summer. Room can get hot - only portable fan available. Smart Tv provided, however, was unable to get any tv channels working and no connection to wifi to stream anything. Be mindful that the rooms are near the pub and can hear people at night.

Staff were friendly. Especially the staff at the pub.
