We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThere is virtually no wifi signal in the room. The beds were not comfortable and one bed leg was broken. The rooms are opposite to a cafe and we had to keep the curtains closed all the time

The hotel is very well located and has a great pub attached to the property that serves really great meals. It's an easy drive up to Mt Hotham and is well located to Hoys for collecting all the snow gear required.

AustraliaBeds were a little too hard for me. Electric blanket didn't work on one side. And single bed didn't have one. All easily fixed. No place to dry snow gear if it was wet.
Excellent value for money. Great place to stay if going to the snow all day. The closest you'll get to Mount Hotham without being on the mountain. And so much cheaper. Pub was amazing with amazing food. Staff were excellent at customer service. Highly recommend.

AustraliaThe accommodation should have had WiFi but it did not work. The pub that was associated with the property also did not have WiFi and was told "I would be lucky to get it" from a staff member as it often didn't work. This isn't normally an issue but I had deliberately taken work with me in the hope that I could do some on my visit. The accommodation didn't get serviced during our stay, and we had our young daughter with us who is still in night nappies. I thought by day 3 they may have came in to change the bins but they didn't so we had to ask at the pub for a bin liner to replace the overflowing one in the room. The staff were nice about it though.
The accommodation was basic but it was comfortable and in a good location with a pub attached. There was lots of nice walks in the quiet little town.

AustraliaOne side of the electric blanket in our room is not working. Only the big bed has an electric blanket, the small ones do not have it. The thin quilt is not enough for cold nights. HiFi system in the restaurant needs to be upgraded, too old and not functioning very well.
Room as described and per the pictures. Good location. The restaurant is the best, fantastic food and beer. Only wished the owner could fix the HiFi system. With one speaker broken, not very easy to hear the music.
