I am so glad we stayed at the Lake house and if you are travelling this way you must stay. It's the most beautiful, peaceful, relaxing place. The hosts have provided everything you need and want. I just wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the town of Keith too. You must try the mini rollercoaster ride in the park.

The interior decor and furnishings are very dated but well maintained.

- Host was very helpful and friendly prior to arrival. - Very clean. - Nice homemade bread and items to make breakfast. - Had all appliances and conveniences needed.

Although advertised as having wifi, the host provided info informing guests that the wifi is not especially strong or reliable at times ( or words to that effect) As leisure travellers staying only one night, this was no issue at all for us. You are in the country. Maybe Telstra, or whoever, will improve it one day.

Thank you Beth for breakfast provisions: eggs, bacon, fresh ( home-baked ) bread, home made jams (yum) plenty of cutlery implements etc we prepared our own evening meal. All good. Bed was comfy. And location is obviously super-quiet. We made our morning coffee with your nice pod machine. Spacious bathroom , walk-in shower .

Nothing particularly we didn't like.

This gorgeous little cottage was a great place to stay at just over 5 minutes from Keith. Wonderful location overlooking extensive lawn and a lake although it was full of reeds. Late afternoon the sprinklers came on together with a water fountain in the lake so that made a grand spectacle. The breakfast was magnificent with country eggs and bacon tasting delightful. The bed was very comfortable and the near full kitchen made the stay even better.

Lovely and clean. Presented beautifully. A great choice of breakfast foods. We walked into the retreat with music playing and a bottle of wine. Great atmosphere. The setting was so beautiful and the bird life was wonderful.

The WiFi was confusing.

The remote location was very relaxing. The facilities were excellent, breakfast provisions wonderful. We loved sitting outside watching the birds and enjoying the complimentary wine.

While it's understandable that the location is in the nature, it was not very well cleaned, there were cockroaches.

Very good jam handmade by the owner. Location surrounded by nature, we were waked up by bird's chirping. Amazing to find a bottle of wine when you arrive at the location.

We couldn't stay longer!!

The Lake House Retreat was a lovely, homely spot to rest during a long drive. We enjoyed it so much and loved the fresh bread and lovely breakfast. The outlook was also a gorgeous and so lovely to wake up to!

Very quiet and peaceful after a long drive. Only five minutes drive from Keith town. Bottle of red wine waiting for us and bacon, eggs and a fresh loaf of home made bread. Home made jam and sauce to boot! Love staying here

Main bed arrangement was a studio apartment style with a large bunk room out the back.

Private, good amenities and comfortable. The freshly home baked loaf of bread and bottle of wine were an extra special treat.

Very big house with beautiful view. Kind owner and a nice present on arrival. A little explanation of how things work would be great ( maybe we didn't look good enough 🙃).

Personally I was disappointed that couldn't actually SEE the lake from the cottage ( due to reeds). It was the sole reason I chose the property 🙄Also taps could be quite noisy ( which was problematic staying with elderly parents at night) but otherwise a gorgeous comfy B & B .

Loved that it was easy to locate, easy access to property, lovely decor ( including real houseplants) , well maintained gardens . The breakfast provisions were delicious . Very tranquil & relaxing . Overall an enjoyable & pleasant stay 🙂 Thankyou ❤️
