Everything as perfect

The Cabin on the River was clean and well maintained. The owner made us so welcome, showed us around and provided special breakfast items for us to enjoy in the morning. The location was quiet and the bed was so comfortable. Dinner and snack by the River and a bath tub with heated water on the River bank was amazing to watch the sky.

Pack the insect repellent, we did not think about mozzies, cabins close to the creek. Mozzies not good, but property perfect, mosquito coils provided. 👍

Full of Hospitality and Country Charm We loved the location, exploring the cottages echoing the days when the property was a working farm. Great experience for everyone. Can kayak up creek with gear to fishing spots. Love how outdoor fire places available (private and communal) free firewood. Bonus free use of Kayaks, life jackets supplied and wonderful service. Great breakfast available too.

The bathroom needs at least one hook for towels, had to put them on the bench to dry.

Amazing design of the house and the property in general! Every little detail was special! Great location in the forest with a river view and cicadas singing.

Shara was a perfect host. We were shown around her beautiful, quaint property on arrival. Her property and our accommodation exceeded our expectations. A beautiful place to relax, unwind and enjoy. We enjoyed the outdoor bath, listening to the birds. Our property was the Chookery, a must to visit.

Bamboo picture up in the Chookery - I would love like a vintage cartography of Chinchilla or something more in keeping with the style of the property.

Lots of cozy little nooks to enjoy a cuppa, have at chat read a book. Saw an echidna on the grounds!

No concerns

Beautiful gardens, rustic setting and very comfortable. Perfect setting for my toddler to explore with plenty of interesting things for us to check out. Loved it!

Very poor wifi. Unable to connect with wifi network within in the room as the signal didn’t reach within our cottage. Although there seemed to be another wifi guest network available with stronger wifi signal that reached within the room, the staff did not know the password to this network. A compendium in the room with instructions to connect to wifi would have been helpful. Need to drive back into town for meals as no restaurant close by.

Very cute and rustic cottages which have been hand built by the owner. Beds and room were very comfortable. Staff were readily available and very friendly and helpful. A good continental breakfast was available on the balcony of the main homestead at a reasonable price.

Stunning area, we travelled to bird watch and it was well worth the money to stay here to see the variety of birds that call the venue home.

Unfortunately we didn’t get a lot of time there, arrived late and had to leave early, but it was just a lovely place. It was so peaceful and quiet, the outdoor area was beautiful and I wish we’d got a chance to use it. We will definitely be back to spend a couple of days relaxing when we’re up this way afain.
