No fault of the property, but bedroom backs onto main road, traffic does not stop from 430am, it’s insane the amount of traffic for county town Be aware you be awake from 430am

I liked the period furniture and fittings. They went very well with the character of the town and building. The Loft is a very comfortable three room apartment that is quite private.

The bathroom is very small but in saying that it was perfectly adequate for me.

The Loft was a lovely cosy shelter for my stay. The bed was sooo comfortable and the loft was tastefully appointed, warm, user friendly- everything I needed. I actually just wanted to stay in bed!

The noise from the road at night was terrible and the bathroom was ridiculously small . With a bad ant problem.

The King bed was wonderful , the layout of the Loft was great and the kitchen was reasonably well equipped.

Very clean, with plenty of room for us. Bed was very comfortable with a lovely skylight so we could watch the stars. The staff were very helpful and friendly, which made our stay better.

The kitchen sink is set up in a very strange way (in the corner of the bench top) making it difficult to wash dishes. Also the bathroom was on the small side- didn't really bother us, but could be an issue for other people.

Booking process was really easy and staff were very friendly and quick & responsive when booking additional days into our trip. The loft was cute, well set up, clean and the king sized bed was super comfortable!! Aircon was efficient even during some extremely hot days.

We had a minor issue with instructions for finding the location, google maps was a little vague with exact location, but issue was quickly rectified.

Great location, bed was very comfortable and lovely extras were included, including some locally produced coffee and natural toiletries (body wash, shampoo and conditioner). Very clean, comfortable and spacious!

A slight risk of hitting your head in the bedroom for tall people and the small distance between the toilet and the sink was tricky.

We really enjoyed just how fully furnished the loft was. You could cook a meal in or order take-out and really enjoy the ambiance of the decor as you had your meal. There were options of streaming services so you could have a nice day in if you liked and the garden is absolutely gorgeous! The sunroof above the bed is something we really enjoyed as well as we could stargaze for a good amount of time before dozing off.

i really struggled with the noise in the bedroom from the main road. it kept me up quite a bit. Also the lack of air conditioning or a fan in the bedroom made it harder. It was 35 degrees each day I stayed, I ended up having to blast the aircon and leave the bedroom door open to make it workable. The fridge was also set up extremely high when I arrived and I didn’t realise. All of my fresh produce froze and then defrosted when I realised, I ended up having to throw it all out sadly.

it was very very close to all the shops and was the perfect size for just myself. The space was all lovely and was great for what I needed.

The bedroom was practically on the main highway, being built above the garage and it was extremely noisy all night with traffic. Parking stated but was on the road parking, not secure. Bathroom very small and impractical , toilet needs to be looked at. The owners should stay there for a night to experience it.

Although I had enquired before booking re stair situation, when I arrived I was faced with DANGEROUS SLIPPERY WITH POSSUM DROPPINGS, STEEP STAIRS. If my daughter hadn’t been there to visit I would have been unable to access property. The Bedroom was up a HIGHER THAN STANDARD STEP. I am full of arthritis so this made life very painful. The tiny, tiny Bathroom had a shower that no large adult could fit in. Fortunately I could, although, again there was a step up into the shower cubicle. I don’t usually complain, but the above situations are dangerous for elderly visitors. I feel booking.com needs to change their information regarding this property.
