How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Room was a bit tired, bed wasn't very comfortable (too soft) and the bathroom smelt like bleach upon arrival.
Great location to experience Hahndorf and the Adelaide Hills. Spa rooms had their own parking area which was a great benefit as parking is difficult in Hahndorf. Overall enjoyed the stay.

The shower was smallish with a very small shower rose, the stairs are a little tricky with lugagge, you can easily hear other people walking in other rooms and doors opeing and closing.

Exhausted carpet. Some rusted drawers handles and noisy fan in the bathroom.
Excellent location. Spacious, very clean room. Huge bed, but a bit hard.

Beds need replaced. Shower silicone black with mould needs replaced Ice trays in freezer would be helpful . Soap dispenser in the shower recess was ugly and contained poor quality soap .

Bathroom layout is silly, open door in the dark to use loo and walk straight into the shower screen.
Well thought out decor very clean. Nice rooms in the best location. Loved the art work especially the little fox!

Very basic room with dated fittings and furniture. Spiders and cobwebs on the balcony and outdoor furniture. Single-use bathroom amenities. Not very clean. Would not stay there again.

The Manna Hotel room no. 49 was excellent, it was clean and it looks beautiful. It was right in the middle of the town so it was very easy to explore the shops and it was right next to the bus stop so it was easier to travel to the convention center.

Upon arrival, we arrived at our room, which was booked for a couple, to find our room had been set up for a family. Then our TV in the room wouldn't work. Once we contacted the reception staff, they came to the room and decided to move us to another room, which was for a couple (no additional trindle beds set up), however, the TV didn't work again in this room. After my husband fumbled around for 30mins we got it working! We had issues with the door keys twice, not unlocking the door, and had to get the card replaced both times at reception. I'm just happy this happened during staffed hours, as we would have been locked out our room until someone could get there. The drains in the shower and bathroom sink were quite smelly, which wasn't very pleasant when showering or using the sink. We also found the bed extremely uncomfortable to sleep in. Other than the above points, the room was clean, with clean towels every day, and spacious accommodation. The staff are very helpful, friendly, and welcoming.
The location of the accommodation was perfect, with friendly, helpful staff.

Nice spacious room, clean and comfortable and well equipped - even got biscuits included with the tea/coffee (can't remember the last time that happened!). Good location on the main street, everything within walking distance. On site parking - although number of spaces appeared a bit light relative to the total number of rooms there appeared to be plenty of on road parking on the streets behind the hotel if needed. Nice stay, no complaints from me.

We didn't like being under another room as we could here people walking around and also we could here water running through our cupboard every time they used water it was quiet loud.
We liked were it was situated on the main strip of Hahndorf.
