The wifi didn’t really work and never stayed connected. To no fault of the owner, there was some water damage and leakage due to recent floods.

The pool was good. The rooms were decent sizes and spacious, and the room facilities were good. We booked a 3 bedroom apartment and even though they weren’t available due to water damage from storms, the owner was incredibly accomodating and provided us with 2 apartments with 2 bedrooms in each which was incredible. Air conditioning was fantastic

Well nothing really. Only issue is distance from beach but not a problem if reasonably fit.

Spacious rooms. Very comfortable bed. No skimping in kitchen or bathroom amenities. Also liked pool which was clean and suitable for lap swimming.

It was in need of some minor maintenance.

The property was as described, very clean & nice & quiet. We were a family of 5 adults so the 3 bedroom, 2bath room configuration really suited us. The pool was nice too.

There may have been some water problems at some time as the kitchen + bathroom cupboards at the bottom were blown + the doors despite being freshly painted showed some damage.

Needs a little updating, within the kitchen area. Apart from that not much else.

The apartment has a large living area, very comfortable for a family of five. It was close to town, however accessible by car which we preferred. The area is quiet at night which allowed for a restful sleep. Craig provided great advice on things to do in and around Port Douglas and restaurants to visit.

Bed was a little too firm for me.

Was spacious and clean. Had everything you needed. Great shower and it was in a quiet location. Good aircon. Not too far to walk to the beach or town centre.. Staff were friendly and always available if you needed something and offered their assistance of what was on for my stay. Good position.

The only downside for us was in the larger area of the suite the aircon was evaporative and really didn't have any effect in the humidity so we got ready in the smaller room which had lovely cool air from a recycled unit. The decor felt slightly dated, particularly in bathrooms but clean nevertheless. It was quite a lengthy walk to the main street (about 30 mins) but the Port Douglas Taxi service was very economical..and cool 😎

Huge welcome from Craig who was very accommodating and gave us lots of information. Pictures on website were a true reflection of rooms which were very spacious and well appointed. Gardens were meticulously maintained. Pool was lovely and relaxing in a very pretty setting. There was a small bbq for use also. Covered carpark was also a bonus and we were supplied with a key to open gate which also provided security. We had the executive two bedroom suite which was excellent value and easily accommodated 4 adults. The rooms were very well separated so we were able to be quite private but come together for meals etc. Huge fridge, dishwasher, with ample crockery and utensils provided and washer and dryer in separate bathroom. Home away from home really.

Would have liked more cooking and cleaning utensils for the kitchen as we were keen on cooking at the room some days/nights. Since we stayed for a week, it would have been nice to be given more towels and toilet paper without asking.

I enjoyed using the pool and easy to access car park for our hired car. Bedroom and TV area was good and comfortable. Great aircon to keep the room cool in the humidity. Nice big windows for natural light. Staff member at front desk was very helpful and kind in anything we needed. Stove, kettle, toaster and microwave great for cooking in the room.

would have been nice to have air con in all bedrooms. we were lacking a cheese grater - really minor issues.

It was a great apartment, however, So far all apartments in Australia that we’ve stayed in, we find the cutlery/plates/pans/oven not clean enough. Cupboards having musty smells. The expectation of guests cleaning before leaving is ok, but probably isn’t enough, and needs a second clean from the services….as we have to clean everything ourselves before using. The cutlery drawers need wiping out etc.

The size and facilities of the apartment were great. We had a car and there are free spaces to use. The pool area was really nice to spend some time relaxing too! A good stay for us!

adjacent fire station, and they did drills at night, also patio area was dark and damp, with mozzies, no air movement, so were only able to be inside. one chair in the apartment was coming apart and had many nails sticking through the rattan. not safe!

You have to pay for wifi, and it’s a 30 min. walk to go to town.

The amount of space in the apartment is great! And a beautiful pool outside. Everything is so clean!
