The unit above us is very easy to hear things. They weren’t noisy, just normal day to day noises however was so very loud in our room. Could even hear them turning in their light switches, walking from room to room, could hear conversations. Very hard to sleep.

Lights didnt work in some units, a TV didnt work in 1 unit, they were not 100% clean. Needed a full length mirror somewhere as we were going to a wedding and we could not see ourselves.

Bed wasn't overly comfortable. Only had 2 pillows on queen bed and 1 pillow on singles and 1 spare in each room. One of the drinking glasses had a crack in it. And only 2 face washers (1 each bathroom - feel at least 2 each bathroom are needed). The glass panels/windows in the showers showing into the living room/kitchen was not nice and made us uncomfortable to shower when others within the apartment could see full silhouettes in the shower. There was drilling or a vacuum or something going at 5.50am and a high pitched buzzing noise prior to that - unsure if it was from within the complex or not.

The cooking utensils (pots and pans) could have been improved. A shelf in the shower would have been handy. An ability to block the spill of light from the stairway into the bedroom would have helped, the curtain only did so much. Not much privacy from either end of the apartment if you open the curtains.

Great location, excellent value for money. Nice staff. As a woman travelling alone for work I felt safe staying there.

The apartment is within walking distance from Fortitude Valley station, and is just a few bus stops to the Queen street shopping district.

The table on the balcony was really dirty! Is like oil is been poured on it! Needs to be thrown away!! Soundproofing reall poor! You can hear the other guest in and out especially early morning hours, reall annoying!

The only thing I did not really like was the view, not much of it, just back of warehouse. But still was able to enjoy the sun on the balcony!

Location was very convenient for what we needed to do. Many restaurant options nearby, yet not a noisy street. Short walk to the river. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Loved the decoration and the lay out. Very convenient.
