This apartment was well suited for my business travel needs and the Air conditioner was greatly apricated. Great kitchen too. Location was close to so many restaurants.

The apartment appeared to be clean, fresh and modern on arrival with a spacious open plan lounge, kitchen, dining area. Nice art work on the walls. However when the light hit the kitchen cabinets there were so many finger prints everywhere. Pretty hard not to see. Hard surface to clean however it's such a huge must check point when servicing the rooms.. Not so pleasant and it unfortunately altered my comfort for my 4 day stay in the apartment.

The location is fantastic, right between Brunswick St and James St. So easy to walk to Howard Smith Wharf or catch the bus into the city if not travelling with a car, from just up around the corner on Brunswick St. The staff are lovely and with online check in completed prior to arrival, my check in was so easy. The apartment I stayed in was surprisingly spacious and comfortable.

Overall the property was underwhelming. The lift was out of service requiring a walk of more than 4 flights to get to our room. This was not mentioned at checkin and no offer to assist with bags was made. The apartment had an unpleasant smell, the balcony door didn’t lock, the blinds were broken so you couldn’t open them, there were no rubbish bins anywhere and the shampoo and conditioner provided was 3/4 used .

The location was good and based on other reviews and the rating it looked to be good value for money. However the general appearance did not live up to the reviews. The secure undercover car park was a good bonus.

There was no wall and door separating the bedroom from the rest of the apartment therefore 1 person could not sleep if the other wanted to watch TV The shower head is a water saver so washing takes a considerable time

We had a few problems with our 1st room, but the staff moved us rooms which sorted the situation. The frosted panels on in bathroom walls are a bit strange

The apartment was exceptionally well stocked and with good appliances - highly suitable for people staying long term. It was also very spacious and the privacy of the courtyard was appreciated.

the unit was looking tired, there was a large patch on the wall were a tv support had been removed and no one had bothered to fix and paint, a 20 minute job for a competent handyman. the washing machine was too large for the alcove and the door would not close, permanently blocking a bathroom access. The bed linen was not crisp and fresh but felt old and worn out. If they are to continue charging premium prices they really need to lift their game

behind the bedside tables could use a little cleaning, it wasn’t dirty - just a little dusty. the alarm clock didn’t work and there was nowhere to charge my mobile phone. Of course I forgot my phone charger, as lots of people do. everything was switched off at the PowerPoints which was annoying and not very convenient. the $200 holding fee is still pending on my account but the charges for the room have been deducted from my account on 31/8 - it’s now 3/9.

Found the unit to suit our needs really well - Pubs and cafes are really close which is handy, and having laundry facilities was a huge bonus. We have recommended the units to friends who travel through Brisbane and we would stay again as well. I was also really lucky that the house keeping handed in my kindle to reception and they were nice enough to hold it for a week until we were travelling back through to grab it.
