We have no complaints. My wife and I loved the charm of the whole place, inside and outside. Our river view and the sunsets were magnificent.

Hosts could not have been friendlier. They went beyond the call of duty. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble to them. My wife and I felt we were treated like royalty at times. So many little extras made our stay at The Old Bank memorable. The breakfasts are to be experienced to be appreciated.

The location was superb. The hosts was best ever on our road trip. The room was stunning and comfortable and private with a beautiful view on the river. The breakfast was scrumptious and served with homegrown herbs. We had an unforgettable stay.

Wonderful Hosts, fabulous coffee, Breakfast pancakes so light and tasty. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The outlook over the river and the garden was lovely even when it was raining. We loved being able to park the car beside our room too. So convenient.

Well, not much to say. Pricing is a bit high for just an overnight drive through, but worth anyway. Me, I had some trouble in managing the AC System. But may be it was just me being too stupid to activate the night-mode. Better ask Alan on checkin how the remote works. He would be happy to instruct you.

This is a lovely romantic place to stay. Invite your partner or spouse to enjoy the most romantic experience ever. If romantic is not your first priority, you may love the accommodation and restaurant experience as well. The staff is very friendly and open for conversation or any remarks you may have. You feel, that this site is a family owned and operated hotel/restaurant by heart. Thanks for your wonderful hosting.

Fantastic location right on the river. The Old Bank has been beautifully renovated and maintained. The hosts were exceptional and should be proud of the family business they have created. Wonderful gardens and outside seating. Great little village to visit.

We stayed one night in this wonderfully restored house with a lovely cottage garden in a picturesque riverside location. The owners - Alan and Tania - were very hospitable and, while we only had breakfast there, the food was exceptional.

The Old Bank Gladstone was such a breath of fresh air. We were have way home from a trip to Sydney and stressed and tired. This hidden gem was perfect for two weary travellers. It was cold and overcast and our host Alan even lit our fire in the room. Tania fed us some home made date slice on arrival and then a superb breakfast the next morning. We highly recommend this boutique accommodation magically set on the Macleay River.
