It’s a simple and basic pub and rooms. Don’t expect great things but it’s pretty cool.

Bit run down and could do with some touch ups in various places, probably the nature of how old the building is. It has character but for me personally, it was a bit basic anda place to just rest your head. It did the job.

Good location and friendly staff. Check in was very easy and room was clean. You get what you pay for. One of the bathrooms is really nicely refurbed.

Great location, lots of eateries and supermarkets close by plus a fantastic pub and pizzeria within the building. Fabulous staff, friendly, helpful and fun. Clean and the rooms are nice.

Came on a super hot day, the upstairs rooms should of had windows open to allow ventilation, otherwise - perfect for our requirements :)

Quite warm in the room. We had the ceiling fun but wasn't enough

Nice clean double room in a very convenient location. No problems with the shared bathroom, I never had to wait and it was quite clean. The kitchen also was very well equipped with a microwave.

It was a little noisy in the early parts of the night (there's also another pub across the road) but settled down once people went home.

Our room was clean and so were the bathroom facilities and shared kitchen. We managed to park our car on the street without any issues.

Didn’t like the bed it was a bit to soft and the lack of soap for the showers and no hand soap in the bathroom either

This place is great value for money. Basic but clean,secure, nice atmosphere and great location...a few minutes walk to Darby street shops,bars and cafes. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff and locals in the bar below.. And absolutely one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten! Some might find the noise from the beer garden a bit much. Was fine for me though .I'd stay again for sure .

The showers needed to run for a while for the hot water to arrive - I didn't spot the instructions on the wall on the first day. There was no real storage in the rooms for a longer stay - couple of hooks and one hanger so it was not easy to dry things out once damp. There was noise - while we stayed there over a weekend there was live music downstairs for a couple of nights and patron's voices did travel upstairs to the rooms. However, it was quiet by midnight on those nights.

The check in was easy with keys picked up at the bar and rooms OK. There are shared bathrooms and toilets which were well cleaned daily but are used during the day by others. Not a problem for us. There is no aircon but all windows had fly screens. Again this is what we were expecting. The location is great in a very cool suburb with only a short walk to restaurants and bars. It had a great well equipped kitchen reserved for guests with fridge, microwave and plates e.t.c. We didn't get a chance to try the pizzas but they smelled delicious.

There was music playing on Sat night but it was cruisy music so it was ok. Our room was right above it so we could hear it but it was ok and didnt interfere with our sleep. There was no loud pub noise at closing time

The room was huge, the bed and linen was wonderful. The location was great and it is a really nice neck of the woods. We went for a walk on Sunday morning and its a lovely suburb and close to the main town. The facilities were shared but very clean and adequate. exception value for money. I Would stay there again.
