Staff always friendly and welcoming! Rooms have a decent space and they’re always pretty clean! The hostel vibes and good and the structure overall it’s quite cozy!

The beds didn’t have numbers, so I had to choose a bed that was free. After a couple of nights the bed i had been sleeping in was taken by someone else because the cleaner changed the sheets thinking that no one was occupying that bed. My personal towel was thrown away by the cleaner too. I don’t blame the cleaners as I it’s not their fault but rather the owner’s of the hostel limited understanding of the confusion created by not having the beds assigned to the guests.

The room was clean and so were the toilets and showers. You have lockers in the room to keep your stuff safe.

It would have been great to have water fountains on each level that has both hot and cold water to fill water bottles/make tea. The curtains around the bed just needed to be slightly wider to give proper privacy. I got woken up on the first night by street sweepers and trucks as we had the window open at night. Nothing to do about that since it’s on the main road but closing windows and curtains helps!

Free breakfast, adjoining cafe, convenient location and the lounge with Netflix was great! The bed lights with USB ports and shower gel provisions were a nice bonus.

The things I didn't like were not related to the running of the hostel it was more that the people there some of them were very noisy but you can't really expect that much of hostel

I needed to change my room because I only had a top bunk and they were vert obliging and changed my room in five minutes the beds were very clean the sheets were clean the duvet was clean the pillow case was clean and it was very comfortable and the location is excellent.

Situated in an admirable inner-city location opposite The Domain, this iconic yet affordable heritage building is within walking distance (20-25 minutes) to the world-renowned Sydney Opera House through the Botanic Gardens. I had a great time staying here; I especially loved socialising with other fairly outgoing international guests during breakfast and chilling out in the common areas.

Most of the problems from the hostal are related to people: There are only 2 workers in the entire building who know about customer face-to-face service. The rest are just young people working to stay there, and I don't blame them, but empathy and class are above anything. About the residents, expect to be alone, or to find someone from your country or someone who can cover your back, because there is a lot of closed groups in there. Good breakfast, a decent space in the dining area, comfortable spaces and nice bathroom/shower service. Talking about comfort, it is pretty fine for staying, and the fact that the reception works 24/7, it's excellent for people who does not understand how everything works. Beds are comfortable, and the lockers are bigger than the ones from other hostels. They have some daily activities, which are interesting. Wifi falls down ocassionally, but at least it works, specially in the ground and 1st floor.

At first I didn't like the fact your phone was your room key and you have to download an app to do things like get into your room and do your laundry. After getting used to it, I found it easy enough to use but my phone doesn't do QR code which made it difficult for me

Everything is great!

It’s a very nice hostel. There is a lift can help you a lot. Good breakfast makes you a day. I met a lot of people from different countries they were amazing. And I attended 2 times yoga and a party with wine and cheese I enjoyed very much. I lived here 5 days in the beginning and Iextended to 14days because their wonderful staffs. They’re all friendly and helpful all the time especially red hair, black hair ladies and blond guy! I give it 10!!!

I couldn't believe that this place did not provide ANY towels, including rental. My only option was to buy, which I thought was a little extreme, even for a hostel. I understand that it is Sydney, but the price was extremely steep for a hostel, which is another reason why having no towels provided was surprising.

The room was kept clean, and the staff would actually make the bed for new comers, though it was a little difficult to tell which ones were actually open because the blankets are scrunched. The breakfast and having multiple places to hangout made it easy for me to work/ use wifi as well.

I always cannot find my bag in fridge because there are too many bags.

There is a lift which helps me a lot for luggage and when I was tired. Amazing reception members,especially the Italian guy, show the profession to deal all patiently with smiling. Location is good you can go anywhere by walking in 15-20min. They hold different activities everyday. And there is a good kitchen that you can cook.

Only USB-A port at the bedside is a minor inconvenience, wished it was an outlet since all my cables were USB-C. door was quite loud (slam) when shutting if the guest just left the room without holding it. Woke me up a couple times at night.

Overall pretty good, nice lounge and kitchen, room was decent lockers were convenient.
