The bed was fantastic, the bathroom was huge the bath was great. It was super relaxing, very quiet.

The convenient location is great for access to main roads but you can hear the motorway noise when outside in the garden.

We loved the fact that we could join the two apartments and socialise together in the larger kitchen and outdoor terrace. The breakfast food provided was very good and we enjoyed having access to the indoor pool on site.

The bathroom - have left having such bathroom/bathtub envy We were given beautiful food by the host in the fridge. The pool was awesome Absolutely everything about this place was exceptional. I could break it down but highly recommend everyone just to go and stay here for at least 1 night to experience this beautiful place themselves

Although most of the property was exceptionally clean it was let down by quite a few cobwebs in the bedroom and courtyard areas were very neglected. Otherwise this place is a gem.

We stayed here for three nights and it gave us relaxation after a lot of touring. Warm welcome on arrival. High quality coffee machine and breakfast provisions. Loved the location, easy for walks, short drive in to nice little town of Sterling and caught bus from Sterling in to Adelaide. Summit of Mount Lofty and wildlife reserve a short drive away. Use of swimming pool was great, it is used by non-residents at times but equality we did have plenty of access to it. We loved our stay here, massive indoor space, lovely bathroom and beautiful location.

The one thing we didn't like was how close it was to the freeway it was very noisy you could hear the traffic all the time very hard to sleep

Was a great location for exploring around the hills that is why we stayed there also the food provisions were great bacon egg's etc we had the balcony view apartment

The retreat was fantastic. A great location for exploring the Adelaide Hills. Breakfast provisions were exceptional and all facilities were excellent. The open fire was a great treat.

It’s always nice to find accommodation that surpasses your expectations. Comfortable, functional, private, beautifully decorated and full of surprises. Step straight out of the kitchen and into the pool.. a well maintained pool at that. Heating to keep the winter chills at bay, a luxurious bathroom complete with a shower big enough for four people if that’s your thing.. a comfortable bed, lovely linen and several of our own private outdoor areas… finding extra towels is always a game changer for me .. but finding a large, soft, comfy lounge that the two of us could actually ‘lounge’ in… was a true highlight… we will definitely return

The retreat is very comfortable, it feels like a home. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils for your own cooking. It was perfect in winter - the fireplace and bath were amazing.
