We used a bottle of white wine from the mini bar which wasn’t replenished next day, on asking reception staff we were informed that if we got one that night it wouldn’t be cold enough on our arrival back to the hotel….needless to say we went to the local bottle shop

Location is fantastic right next to the tram line & train station..Room was located on the 4th floor right next to the lift but it was a very quiet location. Breakfast was the normal standard breakfast

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Loved the addition of a couch, dressing gowns and coffee pod machine. The litre of bottled water delivered each day was much appreciated. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The breakfast set up was in a tight space which we found to be crowded on Sunday morning but easier to maneuver during the week. The pool, sauna and spa were great and for us, the location was perfect. We had two functions at the entertainment centre and a tram outside the hotel was so handy. We also loved the train station across the road. We caught a train to Gawler Central, hired a car and visited Maggie Beer’s Farm. We were in walking distance of the Adelaide Oval where we did an afternoon tour. We enjoyed some amazing meals all in walking distance of The Playford.

The only downside for me was that there seemed to be very limited/no gluten free options on the room service menu.

What a gorgeous hotel! Easily the most spacious room I’ve ever stayed in, with so much storage I was able to completely unpack for my stay and store my suitcase out of sight. The facilities were fabulous and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the art deco theme throughout the hotel was beautiful. Buffet breakfast was also great and even had a chocolate fondue fountain!

I had a view facing another building side wall, and I couldn't open the top window blind - it could have been a sheer as it was an eye-sore amidst the interior design.

The interior was the highlight - it was stylish to say the least, but functional at the same time.

A small thing - hotel needs new bath towels. A very BIG thing - I couldn't dine in the dining area, including breakfast, because of the huge bright ugly light they have installed that covers the whole area. There is not hiding from it. It is so bright not even sunglasses help. Imagine a torture chamber and you are on the right track.........

The room was not as clean as it should have been, although not terrible. The gym was very dated, and ventilation was poor.

Great shower and bathroom amenities. The loft room was spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The coffee and tea making was excellent, and housekeeping gave me plenty of extra coffee pods when I asked. Room service meals were delicious, but the servings were small.

Too many harsh downlight in the room, but once you learn the switches they are relatively easy to avoid. There wasn't a bath in our room either, which my partner missed.

The room is very clean and comfortable and the service is excellent. It was the perfect hideout for us while we were attending WOMAD. The room was so dark and quiet we slept in until 10AM (after late nights), which is crazy! We never sleep in at tome or in other hotels.
